Exam Analysis of SBI PO 2019 (Main)
SBI PO 2019 (Main) exam was conducted on 20th July 2019 after the conducting body conducted the Phase-I preliminary examinations. The SBI PO Main 2019 exam is conducted by the State Bank of India for the vacant Probationary Officer (PO) posts in various branches of the State Bank of India across the country. The SBI PO Main 2019 paper was divided into two parts, i.e objective and descriptive test. The objective part further consisted of four sections. The maximum time duration and marks for the objective test was 3 hours and 200 marks respectively whereas the descriptive section was for 50 marks which the candidates were expected to complete within 30 minutes.

Data Analysis & Interpretation
The data analysis and interpretation section of the SBI PO Main 2019 exam was moderately difficult, reported the test-takers. Questions were predominantly based on Data Interpretation (DI) and as many as 25 questions were asked from DI. There were a total of 35 questions in this section and the overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult. There were also questions based on time & work, probability and population density.
English
The students were bemused by the twisted questions and the new pattern of the English section. Even though the experts felt that the English section was moderately difficult, the students felt it was the most difficult section after the reasoning section. The English section was predominantly about reading comprehensions and few questions on sentence and phrase replacement. The reading comprehension topics were based on Mutual Funds, Global Warming, Chinese Economy etc. out of the 35 questions, 25 questions were from reading comprehensions.
Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
This section comprised of 45 questions and was the most difficult of all the four sections. No questions were asked to test the computer aptitude of the test-takers. There were square-based puzzle questions, parallel row puzzle questions, line-based and rectangular based puzzle questions.
General Awareness
The general awareness section was neither too difficult nor too easy. There were around 40 questions in this section whose aim was to test how much knowledge the candidates possessed regarding the current affairs. The experts also felt that those students who had regularly gone through the leading newspapers, articles or magazines will do reasonably well in this section.
Descriptive Test
The second part of the SBI PO 2019 main exam was the descriptive test which was conducted for 50 marks. The maximum time limit for the candidates was 30 minutes. The candidates were mainly asked to write letters and essays for which the maximum word limit was 150 words.

SBI PO Exam 2019 (Prelims) Paper Analysis
SBI PO (Prelims) 2019 exam is being conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI) from 8th June 2019 and will culminate on 16th of June 2019 for the vacant Probationary Officer (PO) posts. The SBI PO Prelims exam 2019 is being conducted in online mode and the detailed paper analysis of the same will help those candidates who will appear in the upcoming shifts of SBI PO preliminary examination 2019.
The SBI PO prelims exam 2019 paper consists of 100 questions in MCQ format and the test takers will have 60 minutes to try and attempt all the questions. Except for the English language section, all the other sections were available both in Hindi and English. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and for every wrong attempt by the candidates, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The SBI PO preliminary paper 2019 is divided into three sections and on average, the candidates will have a maximum of 20 minutes to attempt all the questions in a section.

Overall Analysis of SBI PO 2019 Preliminary Exam
The SBI PO preliminary exam 2019 is being conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI) which will culminate on 16th of June 2019. The test takers who appeared for the same on 8th and 9th June 2019 said that the overall difficulty level was easy to moderate. The English language section was the easiest of all while reasoning ability section was a bit difficult due to some tricky and time-consuming questions. The experts believe that SBI PO 2019 cutoff marks (Prelims) for the general category students will be more than 60. The SBI PO Prelims 2019 exam result will decide who will appear in the SBI PO Mains 2019 exam. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the merit list prepared by the concerned authorities based on the candidates’ performance in the Group Excercise & Interview round after the SBI PO Mains 2019 examination.
SBI PO Main 2018 Exam Analysis
Candidates who qualified the SBI PO 2018 Prelims, took the Main exam on 4th August 2018. The examination was conducted by State Bank of India (SBI) in online mode in a single slot from 10 AM to 1.30 PM. A majority of the questions asked in this section were based on Banking Awareness, Government Schemes, Financial Awareness, Static GK and Current Affairs of the last 3-4 months. In terms of overall difficulty level, this section was easy to moderate.

SBI PO Prelims 2018 Exam Analysis
The SBI PO Prelims 2018 examinations were conducted successfully from July 1 to 8, 2018. State Bank of India (SBI) conducted the computer-based test in 4 slots on each of the days. The result for the SBI PO Prelims 2018 examination is expected to be out on July 15, 2018.
The next stage is the SBI PO Main examination, which will be taken by candidates who qualify the Preliminary examination. In terms of difficulty, the paper was moderate and was on the same lines as previous years' paper. The cut-off for SBI PO Prelims 2018 is also expected to be on the same lines as that of last year.

SBI PO Preliminary Exam has 3 sections - English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. In each slot of the exam, candidates had to answer a total of 100 questions in 1-hour duration. Each correct answer carried one mark whereas there was a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer in the entrance exam.
