The English section was predominantly about reading comprehensions and few questions on sentence and phrase replacement. The reading comprehension topics were based on Mutual Funds, Global Warming, Chinese Economy etc. out of the 35 questions, 25 questions were from reading comprehensions.

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude

This section comprised of 45 questions and was the most difficult of all the four sections. No questions were asked to test the computer aptitude of the test-takers. There were square-based puzzle questions, parallel row puzzle questions, line-based and rectangular based puzzle questions.

General Awareness

The general awareness section was neither too difficult nor too easy. There were around 40 questions in this section whose aim was to test how much knowledge the candidates possessed regarding the current affairs. The experts also felt that those students who had regularly gone through the leading newspapers, articles or magazines will do reasonably well in this section.

Descriptive Test

The second part of the SBI PO 2019 main exam was the descriptive test which was conducted for 50 marks. The maximum time limit for the candidates was 30 minutes. The candidates were mainly asked to write letters and essays for which the maximum word limit was 150 words.
