The TN SET paper is divided into two parts - Paper I and II
Each section has multiple-choice questions
Paper I has 50 objective questions carrying 2 marks each
Paper-II has 100 objective questions carrying 2 marks each
Paper I will be conducted for 60 minutes
Paper-II will be conducted for 120 minutes
Paper I tests the general awareness, divergent thinking, comprehension and reasoning ability of the test-takers
Paper-II tests the in-depth knowledge of the candidates of the subjects chosen by them
No negative marks are awarded for wrong or incorrect answers
Paper I and Paper-II are conducted in different sessions
