TG CPGET 2026 Exam Centres

The list of TG CPGET exam centres 2026 will be released by Osmania University once the TG CPGET 2026 notification has been released. The Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TG CPGET) is conducted across 12 exam centres. Students who wish to take admission to postgraduate courses in colleges/universities in Telangana must appear for the TG CPGET 2026 examination. During the CPGET 2026 application process, students will be allowed to choose their preferred CPGET 2026 exam centre. Students must choose the exam centre that is located nearest to their residence. Osmania University will allot exam centres based on seat availability, the total number of test-takers, and other similar factors.

List of TG CPGET 2026 Exam Centres

As per the information available on the official website, the CPGET exam centres are distributed across several important locations in Telangana. The list for 2026 has been released:

1. Hyderabad West: Kukatpally, Patancheru, and surrounding areas.
2. Hyderabad North: Medchal, Gandimaisamma, Old Alwal, and surrounding areas.
3. Hyderabad East: Mallapur, Ghatkesar, and surrounding areas.
4. Hyderabad South: L.B. Nagar, Hayathnagar, Karmanghat, and surrounding areas.
5. Adilabad
6. Karimnagar
7. Khammam
8. Kodad
9. Nalgonda
10. Mahabubnagar
11. Warangal
12. Nizamabad

These centres are planned in such a way that it covers a broad geographic area, ensuring that students from different regions across the state will be able to choose a location that is most convenient for them.

Selection of TS CPGET Exam Centres

While filling TS CPGET 2025 application form, students are required to select their preferred exam centre from the available list. It is normally advisable to select a centre that is in close proximity to their residence so that they are able to reduce travel time and avoid any unforeseen delays on the day of the examination. They should also visit the exam centre a few days before the exam so that they have a proper idea about the location of the exam centre. Once the application is submitted, students will not be able to change the allotted exam centre.  Hence, the students should make their selection carefully, considering factors such as accessibility and personal convenience.

Important Considerations for TG CPGET 2026 Exam Day

Admit Card: Students must carry their TG CPGET 2026 admit card to the exam centre. The students will not be able to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card.

Identification Proof: Along with the CPGET admit card 2026, a valid government-issued photo ID (such as Aadhar card, passport, or driver's license) is mandatory for verification purposes. One must keep these documents safely and check before reaching the examination centre. 

Prohibited Items: The students appearing for TG CPGET 2026 Exam must note that electronic devices, including calculators, mobile phones, and smartwatches, are not allowed inside the examination hall. One should refrain from bringing any such items to the CPGET exam centre.

Reporting Time: It is recommended to arrive at the exam centre at least one hour before the scheduled start time. This allows sufficient time for verification processes and helps in settling down before the examination begins.

Dress Code: There are no dress codes to appear in the examination but it is advisable to wear comfortable clothing and avoid items that may raise security concerns, such as headgears or eye gears.
