BCECE 2018 Counselling

From 2019 onwards, BCECEB will no longer be conducting Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE). For taking admission into engineering and medical colleges in Bihar state, students will now have to appear for JEE Main 2019 or NEET 2019.

There will only be a central counselling for seat allotment on basis of JEE Main 2019 and NEET 2019 scores. In the BCECE 2019 counselling, allotment of seats will be done once that JEE Main 2019 and NEET 2019 results are announced.

The counselling of BCECE 2018 was conducted only for the qualified candidates by the concerned authorities. BCECE 2018 counselling was conducted in online mode and to participate in the BCECE 2018 counselling, candidates have to register themselves, fill their preferred choice of colleges and courses and get their documents verified at the counselling venue to confirm their admission.

Note: Qualified candidates are allotted seats on the basis of their preferred choices, merit, and availability of seats during counselling.

Step 1: Online Registration

  • To participate in the BCECE 2018 counselling, candidates have to first register online.

  • To register, candidates have to enter details like candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth and BCECE 2018 roll number, address, phone number etc.

Step 2: Choice Filling

  • The next step involves filling the choice, by logging in using Roll number and Password.

  • Candidates have to lock the choices and keep a printout of it for future use.

Step 3: Provisional Seat Allotment

  • After locking the choices, candidates can download their provisional allotment letter.

  • After downloading the provisional allotment letter, candidates must report to the assigned counselling venue for handwriting verification.

Step 4: Handwriting Verification

Before the final seat allotment, candidate’s handwriting is verified at the counselling venue to ensure that right candidate is appearing for BCECE 2018 counselling.

Step 5: Final Seat Allotment

This is the final step of the BCECE 2018 counselling. In this step, candidates have to download their final allotment letter and have to report to the specified counselling centre for document verification.

  • Marksheet, Hall Ticket & Pass Certificate of class 10th

  • Marksheet, Hall Ticket & Pass Certificate of class 12th

  • Medical Certificate

  • Six photograph that is similar in the Application form

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
