BITS HD 2026 Admission Announcement based on BITS HD, GATE, or GPAT will be made through online mode at www.bitsadmission.com by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science. There is a certain selection process prescribed by the administrative authority of BITS that determines whether a candidate is selected or not. BITS HD 2026 is a national-level examination, and candidates across the nation can apply for the exam. The exam is conducted once a year, so applicants will have only 1 attempt in 1 year to clear the exam. The selection of candidates for admission to BITS HD is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. The examination authority prescribes a certain cutoff score that the candidates must score in order to qualify for admission. The cutoff marks for BITS HD depend on various factors such as:

10th and 12th mark sheet

Two separate merit lists will be prepared by the institute, one will be based on GATE/GPAT scores and the other will be based on BITS HD scores. 50% of the seats will be filled through GATE/GPAT scores and the remaining 50% through BITS HD 2026 scores.
Admissions to the HD programs after the BITS exam will only be granted on a merit basis.
Candidates will only have 1 attempt in 1 year to crack the BITS HD 2026 exam.
