ICAI releases the official suggested answers for the CA Foundation exam on its website at icai.org, typically a few weeks after the conclusion of the examination. These suggested answers serve as the official reference for candidates to cross-check their responses and get an accurate estimate of their scores.
For the May 2026 session, with exams scheduled between May 14–20, 2026, the suggested answers are expected to be released by July 2026. Candidates can use these to evaluate their performance paper-wise, identify errors, and gauge whether they are likely to meet the qualifying threshold- 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate.
It is important to note that ICAI does not release a traditional answer key with a formal objection window. The suggested answers are final and serve as the benchmark for evaluation.

ICAI does not provide a formal objection or challenge window for the CA Foundation suggested answers. The suggested answers released by ICAI are considered final and are used as the definitive reference for result evaluation. Candidates who believe there is a discrepancy in their result can however apply for a certified copy of their answer sheet and subsequently request re-verification through the official process on the ICAI SSP portal.
