The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has published the official CA Foundation question paper 2025 on its official website, icai.org. Those who are preparing for the CA Foundation exam should go through the previous question papers and practice them very well. Practising these question papers helps with understanding the question paper pattern, section, or topic-wise weightage.
The upcoming CA Foundation exam will also follow the same pattern. So, it is recommended to download the PDF version of the 2025 papers and practice regularly. The question paper has 4 sections, consisting of Accounting, Business Laws, Quantitative Aptitude, and Business Economics. The first two papers, i.e., Accounting and Business Laws, will have a duration of 3 hours, and the remaining two papers will have a duration of 2 hours. Each paper carries 100 marks, and the total marks for the exam are 400. There will be no negative marking for Papers 1 and 2. For Papers 3 and 4, there will be negative marking of ¼.
