How to Calculate Marks Using the CA Intermediate Suggested Answers?

Candidates can use the CA Intermediate Suggested Answers to estimate their marks before the official result is declared. Here is how to do it effectively:

• For Objective (MCQ) Section (30%): The MCQ booklet with the respective suggested answers is hosted on the BoS portal for guidance. Students can check the question as per the master set in their respective MCQ booklet. Each correct MCQ carries 1 mark with no negative marking.
• For Subjective Section (70%): Compare your written answers with the ICAI suggested answers to evaluate the completeness, accuracy, and presentation of your responses. Award marks based on the step-wise marking scheme provided.
• Passing Criteria: Ensure you have scored at least 40% in each paper (minimum 40 out of 100) and 50% aggregate in the group (minimum 150 out of 300) to qualify.
• Distinction: Candidates who score 70% or above in all papers in a single attempt are declared to have passed with Distinction, and their mark statement will carry the 'Distinction' badge.
