January 2026 Session Update: ICAI has officially declared the CA Intermediate January 2026 results on March 8, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the January session can check their results on the official portal at icai.nic.in using their registration number and roll number.
May 2026 Session: The CA Intermediate May 2026 result is expected to be announced in July 2026, approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the conclusion of the examination on May 13, 2026. Candidates appearing for the May session are advised to regularly check icai.nic.in and icaiexam.icai.org for official updates on the result declaration date.
Once released, the result scorecard will include subject-wise marks, group-wise aggregate, overall qualifying status, and rank details (up to All-India Rank 50). Candidates who meet the qualifying threshold- 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate per group- can proceed to the next steps of the CA programme as notified by ICAI.
Candidates unsatisfied with their result can apply for re-verification of answer sheets at ₹100 per paper or ₹400 per group, or request a certified copy of their answer sheet through the SSP portal at eservices.icai.org within the stipulated window after result declaration. Once you clear both groups, you must complete your Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) before commencing your 2-year articleship. You also become eligible to register for the CA Final course.
Hard copies of mark sheets are typically dispatched via post to the candidate's registered address within 4–6 weeks of the result declaration. If you don't receive it, you can contact the ICAI exam department.
ICAI officially releases a merit list containing the names and details of the Top 50 candidates on an All India basis. These candidates usually receive a formal Rank Certificate.
