CA Intermediate 2026 Advance City Intimation

When filling out the CA Intermediate May 2026 exam application form, candidates can select up to three preferred exam cities. Candidates for the CA Intermediate exam will have their exam centres assigned based on the selections they make on the application.

How to select your CA Intermediate Test City Preference:

1. Visit the ICAI Self Service Portal at eservices.icai.org
2. Log in using your ICAI Registration Number and password
3. Fill in the exam-related details and select your preferred exam city
4. Choose your group- Group I, Group II, or Both Groups
5. Select your medium of examination- English or Hindi
6. Pay the applicable exam fee online and submit the form

Once the exam application form is submitted, changes in exam centre preference can only be made during the correction window, which is available free of charge. However, candidates get only one chance to make corrections; there is no second opportunity even with a fee.

CA Inter Exam May 2026: How to Edit Test City Option?

After submitting the application form, candidates who wish to change their preferred exam city can do so only during the correction window, which is available from 20th to 22nd March 2026.

Key points about the correction window:

• The correction facility is available free of charge- no additional fee is required to modify the exam city preference.
• Candidates are allowed only one opportunity to make corrections. No second correction opportunity is provided, even upon payment of a fee.
• Changes can be made by logging back into the ICAI Self Service Portal at eservices.icai.org during the correction window dates.
• After the correction window closes, no requests for centre change will be entertained under any circumstances.

Candidates are strongly advised to double-check their city preferences before the window closes, as the allotted centre will be reflected on the admit card.

CA Intermediate 2026 Exam Timing

Candidates must follow all ICAI exam day guidelines to avoid disqualification or denial of entry at the CA Intermediate exam centre:

• Candidates must report at the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time. Carry your admit card and a valid photo identity proof.
• Electronic items such as mobile phones, smart watches, iPads, calculators, and digital watches are strictly not permitted inside the CA exam centre. Only blue or black ballpoint pens are allowed, no other stationery items are permitted inside the examination hall.
• Candidates appearing for CA Intermediate may opt to answer papers in English or Hindi. The medium once selected cannot be changed after the correction window closes.
• The exact address, reporting time, and exam instructions for the allotted CA Intermediate exam centre are clearly mentioned on the admit card, which candidates must strictly follow on exam day.
• A 15-minute advance reading time is provided from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM IST before all CA Intermediate papers begin.
