CG PPT 2026 counselling process will be conducted in the online mode tentatively from June 2026. The counselling process of CG PPT 2026 is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Directorate of Technical Education (CG DTE). Candidates who qualify the CG PPT 2026 examination must register for counselling, upload documents, complete choice filling, and participate in seat allotment rounds. The admission process includes multiple rounds such as Round 1, Round 2, and a Mop-up Round, giving students additional chances to obtain a suitable seat if they are not allotted one in initial rounds.
The counselling process requires submission of documents like a class 10 certificate, a qualifying marksheet, an exam scorecard, a domicile certificate, a caste certificate, and other documents applicable to their applications. Candidates will also have to pay the counselling fees as specified by the examination authorities to complete the process of counselling. The counselling will be followed by seat allotment, and the seats will be allotted on the basis of choices filled by the candidates during the counselling process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of some other factors like rank obtained by the candidates, seat availability, and preference.

The tie-breaking rules come into effect when two or more candidates are stuck on the same CG PPT rank or marks. The CG PPT tie-breaking rules have been discussed below -
A candidate who has a higher mark in Mathematics is allocated higher rank
A candidate who is older than the other candidate/s is allocated higher rank
A candidate who has a higher qualifying exam aggregate is allocated higher rank

Income certificate (for candidates belonging to the reserved categories)

CG PPT seat allotment 2026 is an important step for admissions to the desired colleges. The examination authorities will declare the CG PPT seat allotment results on the official website of the exam. Candidates will need their login credentials to check the CG PPT seat allotment results. Candidates are only allotted seats considering factors like rank obtained in the CG PPT exam, preference of colleges & courses, and seat availability. The candidates have to make sure that they confirm their seat allotment before the due date report to the colleges on the given date and make the fee payment as specified. The candidates who are not able to report at the designated colleges and pay their fees before the due date will not be granted the seats as per the seat allotment.

While completing the registration of the CG PPT counseling applicants will get an option to pay the fees online. The payment of the fees has to be made online via credit or debit card, or net banking. There is no other mode of payment for the counseling fee.
