CUET PG Exam Analysis 2026 is available based on student feedback for exams conducted until now! This year, most of the CUET PG subject exams were reported to be of a moderate difficulty level. Detailed CUET PG Paper Analysis 2026

The CUET PG 2026 exams are currently being held from March 6 to March 27, 2026. The analysis from March 6 to 25, 2026 shows that the exam is running smoothly across roughly 500 centres in India and 13 to 16 international cities (including Dubai, Kathmandu, and Riyadh).

Major Changes in CUET PG This Year

  1. No General Paper: The biggest shift in 2026 is the removal of Section A (General Awareness/ Aptitude). Students now only answer questions related to their specific subject (Domain Knowledge).
  2. Shorter Duration: With the removal of Section A, the exam time has been reduced from 105 minutes to 90 minutes.
  3. Fewer Questions: The total number of questions is now 75 (instead of the previous 100), all of which are subject-specific.
  4. Marking Scheme: The total marks are 300. You get +4 for every correct answer and lose -1 for every wrong one.

June 05, 2023As per the students review, the exam was conducted smoothly without any technical glitch. There were 3 shifts in total. The exam was conducted across 245 cities.The level of the paper was easy to moderate. The GT section was very easy whereas the other subjects were moderate to difficult. In GT  questions were on Language Comprehension, unseen passages, Reading Comprehension, omission, Narration, direct and indirect speeches, phrases, etc . In verbal ability  the questions were from Spotting errors, blood relationships, sentence equivalence, and some basic numerical problems from algebra, trigonometry, profit - loss. There were questions from analytical skills and from general knowledge section.

There were 25 and 75 questions, respectively, and each question carried 4 marks. The level of Section A was easy and the level of Section B was Moderate to Difficult.  The Commerce paper had questions from Micro/ Macro- Economics, Mathematical methods in economics, Indian Economy and Money and inflation. CUET PG Medical Laboratory Technology level was easy and the questions asked were from Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Pathology Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Serology, Histopathology, Biostatics, Molecular Biology Applied Genetics, Immunology and Immunological Techniques, Biotechnology and Biomedical Techniques.

CUET PG Question Paper 2023 was held in 3 shifts, in which Part A was the General section and Part B was Domain specific. There were 25 questions in Part A and 75 questions in Part B. 

The overall difficulty level of the exam was Easy to Moderate. The general section level was easy to moderate and the domain-specific section was moderate level.
Shift 1 subjects were BEd Languages, History, Kashmiri, and Chemical Engineering. Shift 2 was held for Computer Science and Information Technology, Assamese, Khasi, Persian, and Punjabi. Shift 3 was for English, Indo-Tibetan, and Biochemistry.

CUET PG Question Paper 2023 was held in 3 shifts, in which Part A was the General section and Part B was Domain specific. There were 25 questions in Part A and 75 questions in Part B. 

The overall difficulty level of the exam was Easy to Moderate. The general section level was from easy to moderate and the domain specific section was moderate level.
In Shift 1, Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Pathology Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Serology, Histopathology, Biostatics, Biotechnology and Biomedical Techniques questions were asked for Medical Laboratory Technology. Shift 2 was dedicated to B.Ed and shift 3 was for Physical Education.
