GBPUAT 2026 Exam Centres

The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, will release the list of exam centres for GBPUAT 2026 exam on their official website @gbpuat.ac.in once the notification has been released by the examination authorities.

The GBPUAT exam centres 2026 list will be released once the exam dates for the GB Pant University 2026 exam have been announced. The GBPUAT 2026 exam is expected to be conducted in the first week of June 2026. Keeping in mind the convenience of the students, students will be allocated an exam centre that is the nearest to their residence in Uttarakhand.

The university attempts to assign the preferred exam centre to each student as per the choices filled by them in the GBPUAT application form 2026. Students must submit their registration forms at the earliest to be considered for their chosen exam centre. The GBPUAT 2026 exam centres have strict policies, such as biometric scans, thus students must try to reach the exam centre at the earliest.

The GB Pant University has chosen seven key areas across Uttarakhand to hold the GBPUAT entrance exam 2026. During the GBPUAT application process 2026, students will be given an option to choose the exam centre as per their preference. How Are GBPUAT Exam Centres Allocated?

Students will be able to fill out their preferences for the GB Pant University exam centres during the GBPUAT application process 2026. The GB Pant University allocates the respective exam centres based on the total number of test takers and the preferences marked by them in the application form. After a centre has been allocated, it is highly unlikely that it will be modified/changed. The seating plans will be fixed and will remain unchanged.

GBPUAT Exam Centre Guidelines

GBPUAT has released a set of instructions for candidates appearing for the exam at various test centres to ensure a seamless examination process. Every candidate was advised to follow these guidelines strictly to avoid any issues on the day of the exam and focus on their performance in the exam. These guidelines are as follows:

• Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam centre at least one hour before the exam begins. The exam time will be mentioned on the admit card.
• They need to carry their GBPUAT admit card along with a valid government photo ID, such as a voter ID, driver's license, or Aadhar card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without these documents.
• It is strictly prohibited for candidates to bring any electronic devices inside the exam room, including smartwatches, calculators,  cell phones, and other gadgets.
• Also, they should avoid bringing any notes, books, or study materials. They can only use a blue or black ballpoint pen. Any sheet required for rough work will be provided by the invigilators.
• During the exam, students must maintain strict discipline. Any misbehaviour or unfair practice can result in disqualification. Candidates, throughout the exam, should always follow the invigilators' instructions.

What Can You Expect at the GBPUAT Exam Centre?

It is recommended for candidates to know what happens inside the examination centre to help them remain calm and prepared. All of these measures are taken to keep the exam fair and organised. Here's what one can expect at the GBPUAT exam centre:

• Security Check: Candidates may be asked to complete security screenings, possibly through biometric verification.
• Seating Arrangement: The invigilators will direct candidates to their seats based on the seating plan that will be displayed either outside or inside the examination hall.
• Providing Exam Materials: Question papers and answer sheets will be distributed inside the exam room. Rough work sheets will also be supplied. Candidates are only required to bring a pen and their admit cards. 

• Maintain Discipline: Students must remain silent during the exam and avoid chatting with other applicants. Any suspicious behaviour can be reported.
