GBPUAT 2025 Seat Allotment

The Govind Ballabh University of Agriculture and Technology has released the GBPUAT 2025 spot round counselling schedule on its official website. Students can head to the official website of the GB Pant University @gbpuat.org.in to view the GBPUAT counselling dates 2025 for UG, PG, and PhD courses. The GBPUAT seat allotment result 2025 will be released from September 2 to 4, 2025. The online GBPUAT seat allotment 2025 for UG and PG courses was completed on August 17, 2025. Students were required to report to the allotted colleges for the document verification process from August 20 to 21, 2025.

The GBPUAT Round 1 seat allotment list was released by the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology on July 28, 2025, for both UG and PG courses. The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology has already released the information about seat distribution for undergraduate courses for the 2025-26 academic year. The GBPUAT counselling process began on July 21, 2025, with the choice filling process. In the final round of admissions, students will receive seats in their chosen courses based on their merit. The seat allotment is based on the choices made, merit obtained in the entrance exam, cutoff, and seat availability.

After the GBPUAT 2025 seat allotment 2025 is finished, students must register at the university by the specified date and time. If a student does not report to the university for registration, they will lose their seat, but their submitted fee will be refunded.

Students who pass the exam and meet the cut-off marks for their chosen course can attend the counselling session. The counselling for GBPUAT 2025 will be conducted in several rounds, as long as seats are available in any courses.

GBPUAT 2025 Course-Wise Seats Intake

The course-wise expected seat intake 2025 for the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) is mentioned below:

• BTech: 505 seats
• MTech: 255 seats
• BSc: 184 seats
• MSc: 211 seats 

BTech admissions are based on JEE Mains rank and 10+2 exam percentage. 85% of seats are reserved for Uttarakhand candidates, with 15% open to others. Lateral entry is determined by the qualifying exam percentage.

For master’s programs, 30% of seats are reserved for ICAR candidates. In the MCA program, 50% of seats are for candidates from Uttarakhand and 50% for those from other states.

In Ph.D. programs, 25% of seats are for out-of-state candidates. For the PhD in Management, seat distribution mirrors the MCA program, with 50% for Uttarakhand candidates and 50% for others.

GBPUAT Seat Allotment Important Instructions

Students are advised to keep the following important GBPUAT Seat Allotment Instructions in mind: 

• If a student submits their choices, they cannot change them during the GBPUAT counselling.
• Seats are assigned based on the student's subject preference and availability. Once seats are assigned, they cannot be changed in any round of counselling.
• Students must pay a counselling fee of INR 500 for UG and PG programs and INR 2000 for MCA for the first round of GBPUAT Counselling. Payment should be made online.
• To keep their desired seat at their dream university, students should pay the required fees after seat allocation. If they do not pay, they will lose their seat.
• During the counselling process, students will be called one by one based on the merit list for seat allocation. Students who miss their call will have the opportunity to come at the end of the day.
• If a candidate does not submit the required certificates and documents or fails to pay the counselling fees of INR 500 (for UG & PG) and INR 2000 (for MCA students), including an advance fee of INR 5000 (not required for MCA students), their admission seat will be cancelled.

GBPUAT Results 2025

The results for GBPUAT 2025 was declared on June 12, 2025 on the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology official website, gbpuat.ac.in, much earliers than the scheduled date of June 24.

Students who took the GBPUAT 2025 exam will be able to check their results online. The examination authority prepares the results, which will be displayed on the official site. To download the scorecard, students will need their application ID and password.

After the results are out, students can see their ranks and the colleges they may be offered during the GBPUAT 2025 counselling and seat allocation process.

GBPUAT Counselling 2025

Once the GBPUAT 2025 results are announced online, the counselling for GBPUAT 2025 will take place in an online mode. This counselling process will begin from July 21, with the choice filling process for UG and PG courses. And the seat allotment for both UG and PG courses will be held on July 28, 2025.

GBPUAT Cut-Off 2025

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology have announced the cutoff for the GBPUAT 2025 on their official website for UG and Masters programmes. The GBPUAT Cut-Off 2025 was released between with the counselling schedule on July 20, 2025.

For General category students, the cutoff for GBPUAT 2025 ranges from 1 to 1148. For students in the SC category, the cutoff is between 1 and 1727 for undergraduate courses. For the MCA course, the general cutoff is 1-77, and for the Master's course, the General cutoff is 1-583.
