MAH B.Ed CET Selection Process 2026: The MAH B.Ed CET 2026 selection process is conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, and is based on four key stages, the entrance exam, result declaration, CAP counselling registration, and final seat allotment. Candidates who qualify the MAH B.Ed CET Exam, scheduled from March 27 to 29, 2026, must register on the official CAP portal at cetcell.mahacet.org, fill in all required details, upload photographs, and pay the application fee to participate in the counselling process.

Following the exam, the State CET Cell will release the MAH B.Ed CET 2026 result on the official website within 4 to 6 weeks, expected in May 2026. Candidates who qualify with a good score will then proceed to complete the MAH B.Ed CET 2026 counselling registration. The seat allotment will be determined based on available seats, the candidate's college preferences, merit, and the Maharashtra government's reservation policy.

MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Application Process

To fill out the MAH B.Ed CET 2026 application form, candidates need to visit the official website of the CET Cell. After filling out all the details in the application form, they have to upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature. Lastly, they have to pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, internet banking, mobile wallet, etc. The applicants can also take a printout of the application form for future reference. 

MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Result

The MAH B.Ed CET result is released within 2 months of conducting the entrance exam. To check the result, candidates have to visit the website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The result will be released in the form of a scorecard, PDF or both. Applicants can view their results displayed on the screen after they have entered their registration number and password. 

MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Counselling Registration 

With the MAH B.Ed CET 2026 counselling round, the choice-filling procedure also begins where candidates can exercise their college options. The counselling process is conducted in 4 phases, Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Institute-level Round. To participate in the counselling round, students need to pass the entrance examination and then register themselves. They have to enter their name, gender, date of birth, email address, mobile number, password, etc. During counselling form fill-up, they have to upload the documents that will be verified and pay the counselling fee. 

MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Merit List

After counselling, the conducting authority will release the alphabetical list and take a look at all the grievances. Once everything is done, the final MAH B.Ed CET 2026 merit list will be published. The candidates whose names appear on the merit list will get to exercise their college options. 

MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Seat Allotment and College Reporting

The MAH B.Ed CET 2026 seat allotment will be released based on the choice of college provided by the student, the seat availability and reservation policy. The students who will be satisfied with their seats need to select ‘Freeze’ and they cannot participate in the further rounds of the counselling. Students who have not been allocated seats based on their 1st preference can choose the ‘Betterment’ tab and participate in the next rounds of the counselling process. For the institute-level round, students can exercise college options and the admission authority will release the merit list for ACAP and Management Quota, based on this admission will be provided. Separate seat allotment will not be provided for the institute-level round.

MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Category-Wise Seat Intake

The MAH B.Ed CET 2025 selection process also depends on the reservation policy. We have discussed the reservation details for different categories of students. The policies included here are only for Maharashtra State candidates. The reservation percentage refers to the proportion of seats allocated for Maharashtra candidates under the CAP. Candidates having caste certificates from states other than Maharashtra will be considered under the Open Category. If these students have applied for CET under the reserved category, they must pay the difference in fees to transfer to the open category.
