  • Submit Individual College/Course Preferences: All students are required to fill in their preferences in terms of their desired course and medical institute during the first stage of the NEET MDS 2026 choice filling. They must submit their choices by analyzing their NEET scores obtained in the entrance exam, and verify with the required college cutoff before submitting their choices. Seats are allocated based on the student’s NEET MDS score and the preferences filled during the rounds of the NEET MDS counselling process 2026.
  • Verify Choices and Fill in the Details: Next, students must view the list of participating colleges as specified under the NEET MDS 2026 counselling, and fill in the details of their choices. Students may submit as many choices as they desire, which allows them to explore different options and select the institutions that align with their preferences.
  • Arranging the Selected Choices in Order: After opting for the choices, students may arrange the choices in the order of their preferences. This allows them to throw light on the significant choices by moving the ones with the highest priority up and placing the remaining ones down one after the other. Students also have the option to interchange or delete them based on their priorities during this step.
  • Choice-Locking Process: Once students have finalized their choices, they must enter their password generated at the time of NEET MDS 2026 registration, and click on the 'Lock Choices' option. It is important to note that once they partake in the Choice-Locking process, no other choices can be added to the list. Moreover, once the students have locked their choices, no further changes can be made to their preferences.
  • Printout of Choices: After the submission of locked choices, students should take a printout of the choices submitted. This printout includes important information such as the lock date and time, IP address, and a system-generated unique number. It serves as a record of the choices made during the NEET MDS 2026 choice-filling process.
