UGC NET June 2025 Application Form (Closed)

UGC NET 2025 June applications were filled from April 16, 2025, to May 13, 2025. The application correction facility was available for the candidates till May 15, 2025. The application form for available on the official website of UGC NET. The National Testing Agency also extended the last date to fill out the application form till May 13, 2025; the application form deadline was May 7, 2025 originally. The last date to pay the application fees was May 13, 2025. You can easily pay the application fees through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking /UPI.

UGC NET 2025 June session will be conducted from June 25 to June 29, 2025. The city intimation slip, along with the admit card, will be released soon.

How to Fill UGC NET Application Form 2025?

The steps below can be followed by the candidates to fill out the UGC NET June 2025 application form:

Stage 1: UGC NET June 2025 Registration

UGC NET Registration is the basic or first step to begin the application process where candidates need to fill in their personal details, and contact details and creates the password. 

• Basic Details: The guardian's name and the candidate's name must be entered exactly as they appear on your Secondary Examination Certificate (Class 10) or an equivalent Board or University certificate. The registration form must be filled out entirely in capital letters.

• Date of Birth: Fill in the date of birth as it appears on your Secondary Examination Certificate (Class 10).

• Contact Details: Candidates must provide a valid Email address as well as a working phone number.

Stage 2: Fill UGC NET 2025 Application Form (June Cycle)

Verify or edit the filled-in details and click on confirm and submit to continue filling out the UGC NET application form for the June cycle 2025. 

• OBC and Non-OBC: Candidates must verify the OBC list given by the Central Government before filling out UGC NET June 2025 Application Form. Candidates who do not fall under the OBC-NCL category must specify themselves in the general category in their application.

• EWS: If the applicant meets the requirements set forth by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, as well as the criteria set forth by the MHRD Department of Higher Education, the candidate will be regarded as an Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidate.

• Address: Candidates must submit their accurate residence address along with the area's pin code.

• Examination Centre: Candidates have the option of selecting four centres for the UGC NET June 2025 exam. NTA will not, under any circumstances, modify the test centre once chosen by the applicants.

• Subject Choice: Candidates must select a subject from the list of 81 UGC NET subjects. Candidates are preferably advised to pick a subject that they have pursued throughout their postgraduate studies.

Stage 3: Uploading Scanned Image

• Size of Photograph: The photograph must be between 10kB and 200kB in size.

• Size of Signature: The signature should be between 4 kB and 30 kB in size. Candidates must sign using a black ink pen on white unruled paper, then scan and resize the signature to the appropriate size.

Stage 4: UGC NET June 2025 Application Form Fees Payment

• Step 4: Print the application submission "Confirmation" page.

If steps 2 and 3 are not completed, the final submission of the Online Application Form will be incomplete. Such an application form is invalid, therefore the candidate's candidacy is invalid as well. Candidates will get an SMS with a one-time password and application number. Retain at least one printed copy of the application for future use.

UGC NET Form Correction Window 2025

UGC NET Form Correction facility is provided to all the successfully registered candidates. National Testing Agency (NTA) permits UGC NET 2025 applicants to make any needed modifications to their application form to be considered for the online examination. The time slot to be provided for UGC NET Form Correction 2025 is 2 days. Candidates should be aware that this is their final chance to make revisions (if any) to their UGC NET Form 2025. • A clear, visible, and readable scan of the signature is required.

UGC NET Application Form 2025 - Guidelines for Photograph

• The image must be clear, with no blurriness or a foggy backdrop.
• The image's background should not be excessively colourful, bright, or dark. Scan a picture with a normal look and preferably with a white background.
• Photographs of applicants wearing sunglasses or aviators that cover their eyes must not be uploaded.
• Selfies are never appropriate under any circumstances.
• Photos with scenery or a fancy background are not permitted to be submitted.
• Photographs with red eyes will not be accepted.
• In the scanned image, candidates must look ahead with the top of their neck visible.
