OBC and Non-OBC: While filling up the UGC NET 2020 application form, candidates must check the OBC list prescribed by the Central Government. The candidates who are not in the OBC-NCL category must mention as a general category in the application form.
EWS: The Economically Backwardness would be considered if the candidate satisfies the provided by the Ministry of Social justice and Empowerment and also by the guidelines provided by the MHRD Department of Higher Education.
Address: Candidates must provide the full residential address and specifically mention the correct Pincode of the area.
Examination Centre: Candidates have the liability to choose four centres for the examination of NET 2019. By no means, the examination centre chosen by the candidates would be changed by NTA.

Payment of the Examination Fee:
After filling all the details correctly and successfully for UGC NET, the candidates have to select the option of payment for examination.
The payment will be done through SBI_MOPS (Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ E-Challan of SBI).

Scanned copies in wrong dimensions will be rejected by the concerned authorities.
The size of the scanned copy must not be less than 4 KB for the signature and 10 KB in case of the photograph of the candidates.
The scanning must be clear, visible and readable.
The photograph must be clear without any blurriness or hazy background.
The background of the image must not be too colourful or bright or dark. Scan an image that is in normal appearance with a soothing background.
Photographs hiding the eyes of the candidates with sunglasses or aviators must be avoided.
Selfies are not acceptable in any condition.
Photographs with scenery or fancy background must not be uploaded.
Red-eyed photographs are not be uploaded.
Candidates must look straight in the scanned photograph.
