Important Dates for UPSC NDA Application Form 2026

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the annual calendar for 2026, which includes the schedule for NDA 1 & 2 exams. To stay informed about the exact dates, take a look at the table provided below that outlines the important dates related to the UPSC NDA 2026 application form.

How to Fill UPSC NDA Application Form 2026?

The application for all UPSC related exams are filled through the official website of UPSC at upsconline.nic.in. The online application portal of UPSC has four parts. You are required to fill out the application and upload your documents in the newly introduced portal because the old one-time registration module will not be applicable from now on. Given below, we have shared the detailed procedure needed to be followed when filling out the application form for UPSC NDA 2:

• Step 1: You need to first visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsconline.nic.in. 
• Step 2: Now, click on “Create Account.”
• Step 3: You need to now check the declaration and read the terms and conditions carefully before clicking on the confirm button to create your account. 
• Step 4: Now, you need to enter your email ID and mobile number, which should be verified through OTP. 
• Step 5: Then you are required to enter Full name (as per 10th certificate), upload name-change gazette if name differs, Aadhaar Number, Personal Profile, Demographics, birthplace, minority status, contact details, Parent names, occupations, Social Category, Residential address details, Education history (12th, graduation, etc.) with mark sheets, history of prior UPSC exams, etc. 
• Step 6: In the next step, you are required to upload original documents. 
• Step 7: After you are done with the universal registration, you are required to complete the common application form by entering the remaining details accurately. 
• Step 8: After submitting the application forms, you can apply for specific exams such as UPSC NDA 2 once the official notifications are released. 

NDA 2026 Application Fees

You have various options for paying the application fee, including cash, credit card, debit card, or net banking. If you opt to pay in cash, you would need to print the system-generated Pay-in slip during Part-II registration. Then, you should visit any SBI branch and deposit the fee at their counter on the following working day.

UPSC NDA Application Form 2026 - Important Instructions

Before initiating the UPSC NDA/NA Application Form withdrawal process, candidates must familiarize themselves with the guidelines to avoid any confusion. Here’s a step-by-step outline to help ensure a smooth experience:

• Credentials Requirement: Candidates must provide the credentials they used to submit their UPSC NDA/NA application. Note that this withdrawal facility is only available to those with complete applications.
• Active Contact Information: Ensure that your registered mobile number and email ID are active, as the Commission will send separate OTPs to both. These OTPs must be validated within 30 minutes to proceed with the withdrawal process. Keep these OTPs confidential.
• Multiple Applications: If you have submitted multiple applications, only the most recent one will be eligible for withdrawal. Previous applications will be considered invalid.
• Final Submission: Once the OTP is validated, you can proceed with filling out the application withdrawal form. After submitting the form, it is recommended to print a copy for your records. Remember, withdrawn applications cannot be retrieved under any circumstances.
• Confirmation: An auto-generated email and SMS will confirm the successful withdrawal of your application.
• Fee Policy: Note that the Commission does not refund any fees paid, even if the application is successfully withdrawn.

Factors Responsible for Rejection of UPSC NDA Application Form 2026

• The application of the applicants is rejected on the grounds of bad quality of the submitted signature.  
• The application of the applicants is being rejected due to submission of photographs only, i.e. no signature submitted or photograph submitted at the place of signature as well.
• The application of the applicants is being rejected on the grounds of swapping a photograph with that of a signature.

Withdrawal of UPSC NDA & NA Online Application

The UPSC NDA & NA allows candidates to withdraw their online applications. However, this option is available only to those who have successfully submitted their applications. To ensure a smooth withdrawal process, candidates should follow these guidelines:

• Withdrawal Window: The Commission will provide a specific time frame during which candidates can request the withdrawal of their applications.
• Application Details: Candidates must provide their registered application ID and other relevant details when requesting withdrawal.
• Access to Contact Information: Ensure you have access to the registered email ID and phone number used during application submission, as OTPs will be sent to these contacts.
• OTP Verification: The Commission will send unique OTPs to your registered email and phone. The withdrawal request will only be processed if these OTPs are validated within 30 minutes.
• Multiple Applications: If multiple applications are submitted, only the one with the highest registration ID will be considered for withdrawal. Previous applications will be automatically canceled.
• Receipt and Finality: After submitting the withdrawal request, take a printout of the confirmation receipt. Note that once an application is withdrawn, it cannot be revived.
• Fee Policy: The application fee is non-refundable even if the application is successfully withdrawn.
• Confirmation: Upon successful withdrawal, an auto-generated email and SMS will be sent to your registered contact details.

Important: Do not share your OTP with anyone to ensure the security of your application withdrawal process.

UPSC NDA 2 Application Form 2026 Correction Window

The Union Public Service Commission provides a correction window. To fill out the correction form, you are required to log in using your credentials, which will be available during your initial registration for the exam. 

Here is how you can correct your NDA application form:

• Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission.
• On the homepage, click on the login option.
• To continue, enter your registered login information.
• A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the email address and mobile number you registered. Make use of it to confirm your login.
• Make the required changes to the application.
• Save and download the updated application form for your records after making the necessary modifications.
