UPSC NDA & NA Exam 2018 Result

The UPSC NDA & NA (I) 2018 Written Exam Result has been announced on June 15, 2018. Meanwhile, candidates planning to appear for UPSC NDA & NA (II) 2018 should note that the result for the same will be released once the exam has been conducted. The result of UPSC NDA & NA will be published officially by the UPSC in an online mode. The NDA & NA Result will be declared along with the merit list. The SSB Interview is held between January and April 2019. Candidates who secure qualifying marks will be in the list of final selection. The final merit list will be prepared by the UPSC on the basis of total marks obtained by candidates in the written exam and SSB tests.

How to Check UPSC NDA & NA Exam Result 2018:

UPSC has adopted a candidate friendly approach to access the NDA Result 2018. The simple steps to check the NDA & NA Result 2018 are as mentioned below:

  • Open the official website of Union Public Service Commission, also known as UPSC.
  • Check the ‘What’s New’ section on the homepage of UPSC official website.
  • Under the ‘What’s New’ section, check for ‘Written Result: NDA & NA Examination (I) 2018.
  • Click on the above-given link.
  • A new page will open, and click on the PDF link over there.
  • On a new page, a PDF file opens.
  • Now, check the Roll Number and Result.
  • After checking the result, take a printout of the same for further use.

Important Points of NDA Result 2018

UPSC declares the result for NDA exam 2018 in the following stages:

Publication of NDA Written Examination Result

  • UPSC will prepare the list of candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as prescribed by the Commission.
  • Candidates can check here for NDA  Result 2018. Roll number of candidates will be mentioned in the result sheets who have qualified for SSB Interview.
  • Qualified candidates can download the interview call letter and attend the interview round.

Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview

  • A candidate will have to undergo five-day interview procedure at the allotted SSB centres.
  • The schedule for SSB interview will be intimated to the candidates through the call letter.
  • Candidates will have to appear for Intelligence and Personality Test where candidates for the Army/Navy wings of the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be assessed on Officers Potentiality.
  • Those for the Air Force will have to undergo the test in Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) and Pilot Aptitude Test (which forms the whole PAB Test) and for Officers Potentiality.

Medical Screening

  • Once the interview is complete, the candidates will be sent for the complete medical examination at the command hospitals.

Final Merit List

  • The marks obtained in the three stages  – written examination, SSB Interview, and Medical Screening – will be considered while preparing the final NDA Result 2018.

UPSC NDA & NA Exam 2018 Cut-off:

The cut-off is the minimum marks that a candidate must secure so as to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round.

 This cut-off score is what ensures whether a candidate will move further on the selection process or get eliminated from the admission process.
