Candidates applying for this entrance exam must meet all the prescribed minimum requirements to be eligible for admission through ADCET. This eligibility criteria doesn’t include any age limit. So, students who meet the basic set eligibility requirements can easily apply for this entrance exam.
However, in case any candidate is ineligible and does not fulfil any one of the requirements, they are asked not to register for this entrance exam, as their application will stand rejected or disqualified. All the requirements must be fulfilled to take this entrance exam. Candidates are required to pass their class 12th in any group (MPC/ MEC/ BiPC/ MBiPC/ CEC/ HEC, etc.) to be eligible to take the AP ADCET Exam. Candidates applying for the AP ADCET entrance exam must note that this exam is to grant admission in BFA and BDes courses. Though the courses are different, the eligibility criteria are the same for them. Check out the detailed criteria below:

Among the sanctioned seats in each course, 85% of seats are offered to local candidates who hail from the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh while the remaining 15% of seats are given to local/ non-local candidates as per merit.
At any cost, the total number of non-local candidates getting admission through ADCET should not exceed 15% putting together all the categories including BC, CAP, ECA, OC, PH, SC and ST. After candidates have checked out the complete eligibility for AP ADCET, they must go to the official website and fill out the application form. The application form has to be filled out completely before the last date. Once the deadline is surpassed, no requests for registrations will be accepted by the conducting body.
When submitting the application form, students must start gearing up for the entrance exam. Also, before starting with the preparation, candidates must check out the complete exam pattern, syllabus, best books and sample papers. After the completion of the entrance exam, candidates have to await the AP ADCET results.
