The AP ADCET counselling process will start once the results are declared by the conducting body. Through this counselling process, candidates interested in BFA and BDes courses are granted admission at the Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University, Kadapa. The conducting body of AP ADCET considers various parameters before deciding to give admission to the student it includes the number of available seats, the result of the design entrance exam, the type of students and others.

Step-by-Step AP ADCET 2024 Counselling Process

Students can check out the step-wise AP ADCET counselling process below:

Step 1: Counselling Notification

When the counselling notification is announced on the official website, students have to check out certain aspects such as the counselling schedule, dates, document verification and other details. It is anticipated to be released after the declaration of results. 

Step 2: Counselling Registration

Candidates are required to register for the counselling on the official website. This registration will end as per the specified deadline. The counselling will take place in 2 to 3 phases and only students eligible can apply for it. 

Step 3. Selection of Choice

Students have to make their desired choice of course and college while registering for the counselling session. 

Step 4: Document Verification

All the required documents have to be brought to the counselling venue. These documents will be verified. Also, only after the document verification process concludes, candidates will be allotted a seat. 

Step 5. Seat Allotment

Students will be selected for admission based on their performance, course preference, seat intake and reservation category. The seat allotment letter will be provided to the students who are on the final list. They will be notified for the same. 

Step 6. Report to college 

Candidates must report to their respective allotted colleges to confirm their admission.

Documents Required for AP ADCET 2024 Counselling

Provided below is the list of documents required for AP ADCET 2024 counselling. Students need to carry two sets of photocopies and originals of all of them to the counselling venue to confirm their admission through ADCET.

• Transfer Certificate or TC from the last studied college.

• Date of Birth or DOB Certificate (SSC/ Class 10th class marks memo).

• Study or bonafide certificate from class 6th to intermediate or residence certificate or relevant certificate as a proof of local status. (from study/ bonafide certificates issued by School / College).

• Caste Certificate issued by MRO (in case of SC/ ST/ BC).

• PH, NCC, Sports, CAP documents and certificates issued by the competent authority.

• EWS Certificate issued by competent authorities.

• The Latest ‘Income Certificate’ issued by MRO (for the income of parents).

• 2 recent passport size colour photographs.

• Printout of the online filled ADCET application form

What After AP ADCET 2024 Counselling?

After the ADCET 2024 counselling process ends, the final allotment result is released on the official website. Candidates can confirm their admission and freeze their seats. If a student wants to cancel the allotted seat after the fee payment he/ she will receive a 90% refund of the total fee prescribed before completion of the first phase of counselling and an 80% refund of the total fee prescribed before completion of the second phase counselling. No fee will be refunded after the second phase of counselling has ended. Students who have confirmed their admission have to report to the college on the date prescribed by the college.
