If two candidates scored the same marks in the AP EDCET 2026 result then Part C will be taken into consideration while calculating the relative ranking. If there is further the same situation then Part A will be taken into consideration.
Age will be considered if two candidates scored the same percentage in both segments. The older aspirants will be given priority over the younger ones.
The qualifying mark for AP EDCET 2026 is 37 out of the maximum marks. Candidates belonging to all of the categories including SC / ST will have to score at least 25% marks to qualify for further rounds. The AP EDCET 2026 results will be released by the official conducting body of the exam - Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Amravati.

To determine relative ranking in the event of a tie in total marks, the Part C marks of AP EDCET 2026 will be taken into consideration. Part-A marks will be considered to determine relative ranking if there is still a tie.
In order to pass AP EDCET 2026, applicants must earn a score of at least 37 out of a possible 100 (except SC/ ST students) i.e., 25 per cent. There will not be any minimum AP EDCET qualifying marks 2026 in place for the ranking of applicants who belong to the SC or ST categories. In the area of Physical Sciences and Mathematics Methodologies, there won't be any minimum qualifying grades for women.
