The AP EDCET counseling is expected to begin in October 2023 and will be overseen by the APSCHE in collaboration with Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The counseling process typically unfolds in multiple rounds, typically 2-3 phases. Candidates who have achieved the minimum qualifying marks, as per the results, will be eligible for counseling. They must initially register for the counseling process. Subsequently, registered applicants can exercise their web options during the AP EDCET choice-filling period.

The seat allocation will be determined based on these web options, along with factors such as the candidates' ranks, the availability of seats in the counseling phase, and reservation regulations. To check the seat allotment results, candidates should visit the official AP EDCET counseling website. Those provisionally selected will need to complete the further admission process according to the provided schedule.

• Registration for AP EDCET counselling is compulsory to be considered for seat allotment of AP EDCET.
• Candidates must pay the processing fee during the registration. They must take the printout of the payment receipt.
• The candidates must complete the processing fee payment before uploading certificates for online verification.
• To be considered for seat allocation, applicants must pay the processing fee within the deadline provided by the conducting body.
• The seat allotment result will be issued in two parts - one is the provisional allotment order, and the other is the college-wise allotment order.
• For college allotment order, candidates have to open the related link once launched. They have to then choose the college from the drop-down menu.
• Next, they must add the branch and click the submit button. Once done, the screen will display the serial number, hall ticket number, rank of the candidate, aspirant’s name, gender, caste, region, allotted category, and phase.
• For provisional allotment results, applicants must open the link “Allotment Order and Self Reporting”. Candidates have to type their required credentials, such as Hall ticket number and birth date and retrieve the allotment order. 
• Candidates must save a few copies of the allotment order and take their printouts as well.
• After receiving the seat allotment order, the shortlisted applicants must proceed with college reporting. Candidates have to complete the admission process formalities before the admission cutoff date.
• Aspirants must present only original certificates during the institute reporting procedure. They should not furnish fake certificates or documents during the reporting.

Don’ts for AP EDCET 2023 Seat Allotment

Below are some of the actions the candidates must refrain from for the AP EDCET seat allotment 2023 -

• Aspirants must not miss registering for the counselling.
• They must not miss the dates for the counselling events.
• Aspirants must not be inattentive while submitting their web choices during the web options round. These web selections are important for the seat allotment eventually.
• The provisionally chosen candidates must not miss the dates for reporting for certificate verification in person and paying the admission fees.
• Applicants must not pay the counselling fee or the admission fee via any other method apart from what is advised by the authorities.
