BHU UET 2019 Counselling Process

Candidates who qualify BHU UET 2019 will have to go through a computerised counselling procedure to get admission in various courses offered at BHU. As part of the counselling process, candidates will have to do online option filling and then produce relevant documents for the verification process. Once document verification takes place, candidates will be called for the allotment of seats. Although BHU is yet to release the counselling schedule for this year, candidates will be called rank-wise for the counselling process as per the scheduled date and time.

BHU starts the counselling process after the declaration of BHU UET result. Post the counselling procedure, the university starts allotting seats to the candidates in their respective courses. Following are the steps involved in computerised counselling:

Step 1: Fill Online Preference Form

Candidates who are called for counselling, have to fill online preference form before coming for the counselling. They can find the form on the official website of the university. In the form, a candidate needs to indicate his/ her preference for the following:

Honours Subject- for BA (Hons)

Honours Subject [Subject Combination]-[for BSc (Hons)]

Seat Type: This option includes candidate’s choice of seat with regular fee only or paid seat if the regular fee seats are full.

Preference of location (Faculty/ Department on the Main Campus or RGSC or Affiliated Colleges): This option is available only if a course is offered at more than one location.

Choice of Course: This preference option is available only if admission is done in more than one course on the basis of merit index/ rank obtained in the Common Test.

Step 2: Attend the Counselling Session

Next, candidates have to be present at the counselling venue as per the date and time mentioned on the call letter. Attendance is marked by the Counselling Centre Incharge. The documents needed for counselling are:

  • Class X Certificate & Mark Sheet
