The FDDI AIST 2019 eligibility criteria is prescribed for the candidates who are going to appear for the entrance exam. The FDDI AIST 2019 eligibility criteria specifies all the details regarding educational qualification, age criteria etc. FDDI AIST 2019 is going to be conducted on 19th May 2019 in offline mode. In order to appear in FDDI AIST 2019, appearing candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the online application form of FDDI AIST 2019 as they will not be permitted to appear for the exam if he/she fails to meet the basic FDDI AIST eligibility criteria.
Candidates should note that the eligibility norms of FDDI AIST 2019 are different for undergraduate and post-graduate courses and candidates are required to meet all the parameters to be able to appear for the entrance exam As per the official website of FDDI AIST, the detailed eligibility criteria of FDDI AIST is mentioned below:
Eligibility for UG Courses:
Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10+2/ qualifying examinations in the academic year 2019–20 in any stream from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent.
Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination are eligible to apply for FDDI AIST, however, they have to produce proof of having appeared for the examination during the counselling process of FDDI programmes.
Age limit for the candidate to apply for UG programmes is 25 years as on 25th June 2019.
Eligibility for PG Courses:
For M.Des. – Footwear Design & Production & M.Des- CAD:
Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in Footwear/Leather/fashion/Fine arts/Architecture/Engineering from a recognised university.
For M.B.A (Retail & Fashion Merchandise):
Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
There is no age limit for the candidate to apply for PG programmes.
(i) Candidate shall submit the final result of qualifying degree/certificate by providing his/ her eligibility on or before 30th September 2019 to their admission officer, where the admission has been granted.
(ii) In case, a candidate is not able to prove his/her eligibility on or before 30th September 2019, for whatsoever reason, his/her admission will be treated as null and cancelled and the entire fee will be forfeited.
