The IIMC 2023 selection process involves Group Discussion and Interview rounds conducted by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). Based on the Exam Result, as well as GD & PI results, candidates are allotted seats. The IIMC selection process begins after the result of the exam is declared.
A call letter mentioning the date, time, and venue, is sent to the qualifying candidates, inviting them for group discussion and personal interview. Afterward, the conducting authority releases the final result, which includes the overall marks of the candidate in the written exam, interview, and group discussion. Candidates have to bring all original educational, caste & 10th certificates for DOB at the time of the interview.

The first admission lists post the IIMC Entrance Exam will be released by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. The lists will be published for all postgraduate diploma programs offered at IIMC including Advertising & Public Relation, Radio & TV Journalism, English Journalism, Hindi Journalism, Odia Journalism, Malayalam Journalism, Urdu Journalism, and Marathi Journalism.

Shortlisted candidates must pay their respective tuition fees latest by the stipulated date in order to secure admission at the institute. The admission fee of IIMC can be paid either online or offline mode.
