IIMC Entrance Exam 2023 Application Form: The IIMC entrance exam 2023 application process is underway. The application form for CUET PG was made available by National Testing Agency (NTA) on March 20 and the deadline is May 5, 2023. The application form correction window will be available between May 6 to 8, 2023. The CUET PG exam will be conducted from June 5 to 12, 2023. Admission into the Indian Institute of Mass Communication for courses like PG Diploma courses in English Journalism, Hindi Journalism, Radio & TV Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, and Digital Media will be conducted through CUET PG. The information bulletin and online application form are released on the official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) announced that it will offer admission to five diploma programs through the CUET PG exam. These five courses are PG diplomas in Hindi, English, Advertising and PR, Radio and TV Journalism, and Digital Media.

While filling out the online application form for IIMC, candidates are advised to fill in their details accurately and make the payment of the required application fee through a Debit card, Credit card, and Net Banking. The General category candidates have to make a payment of INR 1,000 whereas SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD category candidates have to pay INR 750 as an application fee. How to Apply for IIMC Entrance Exam 2023?

Here are the simple steps that applicants must follow to complete the process. 

Step 1: Registration 

To fill out the application form, candidates have to visit the CUET PG website. Register for the online application form and note down the system-generated application number. The candidate should enter the required details and create a password, and then choose a security question and enter an answer for that. Once the personal details have been submitted, an application number will be generated and will be used to finish the remaining steps of the application form. For logging in, the candidate can do so with the system-generated application number and newly created password.

Step 2: Application Form

Log in using the application number and pre-created password to fill up personal details, apply for the paper, select the exam cities, add details of educational qualifications, and upload the images and documents. Scanned images of the candidate's picture, and signature need to be uploaded. The picture should be in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) being visible including ears against a white background. The document specifications are as follows:

Candidate should upload only his/ her own photograph, signature, and certificate(s) as mentioned above (and not of anybody else) in a correct manner as no correction facility will be available later. If the photograph or signature is blurred, the application is likely to be rejected.

Step 3: Application Fee Payment

Step 1: After passing the IIMC Entrance Exam, attend the Group Discussion/Interview.

Applicants who pass the written exam are invited to an interview/group dialogue session. Eligible candidates who apply for enrollment to fill NRI/NRI sponsored seats are not required to take a written examination but must attend and pass the Group Discussion or Interview round, or both.

Step 2: Review the IIMC Entrance Exam Results

On the grounds of the category-wise merit list as per subject allotment standards, a merit list of applicants to be preliminarily accepted to each class and at each campus will be planned. The Campus (applicable to English Journalism) will be assigned on the basis of merit-cum-preference.

Successful applicants have up to 7 days to ensure their admission by submitting the required documents and paying the requisite fees online.
