The Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology (LBS Centre) has successfully conducted the Kerala SET January 2026 examination. Following the recent application window starting from October 29, 2026, the test was held in offline (OMR) mode on February 22, 2026. This state-level eligibility test is mandatory for candidates seeking positions as Higher Secondary School Teachers (HSST) and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE across Kerala.

As per the Kerala SET Eligibility Criteria for 2025, there is no age limit for candidates. Moreover, there is no restriction on the number of attempts. The candidates should hold a Master's Degree in the relevant subject scoring at least 50% marks, in addition to a B. Ed. degree from a recognized university.
