The Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology (LBS Centre) has successfully conducted the Kerala SET January 2026 examination. Following the recent application window starting from October 29, 2026, the test was held in offline (OMR) mode on February 22, 2026. This state-level eligibility test is mandatory for candidates seeking positions as Higher Secondary School Teachers (HSST) and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE across Kerala.
The exam was conducted for 31 subjects, including Malayalam, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, History, Economics, Botany, Commerce, and others. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the Provisional Answer Key, which was released on February 23, 2026.

After filling out the details, candidates should ensure all the details and then submit the form. They should not forget that no changes can be made in the application form after the final submission. A registration ID and site access key will be generated and available on the screen. Candidates should properly note it down to later to log in to their registered accounts.
Once the details are submitted, candidates need to pay the Kerala SET application fee. It can be paid through online mode using a credit card, debit card or Internet banking.

In the Kerala SET exam 2025, candidates will get a choice to choose from 30 subjects. There are different subjects considered for all students.
As per the Kerala SET Eligibility Criteria for 2025, there is no age limit for candidates. Moreover, there is no restriction on the number of attempts. The candidates should hold a Master's Degree in the relevant subject scoring at least 50% marks, in addition to a B. Ed. degree from a recognized university.
For the general category Kerala SET 2025 exam, candidates will have to pay INR 1000. Besides this, the SC/ST and differently-abled candidates will have to pay INR 500 as the exam fee.
