Marking Scheme of NEST 2024 Answer Key

• In the General Aptitude section, no marks will be deducted for the wrong answer and unattempted question.

• There is negative marking for sections like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• In single correctr answer MCQs candidate will receive 2.5 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and 0 mark for unattempted questions.

• If one chooses all correct answers and no wrong answers for multiple correct answer MCQs, she/he will receive full marks, i.e., 4 marks; otherwise, she/he will receive 0 marks.

• Candidates must attempt all the questions.

• Total time duration to answer all the sections is 210 minutes.
