The Odisha Civil Services OPSC CSE Exam 2023 (prelims) has been scheduled to be conducted on October 27, 2024, through online mode, at multiple centres across the state. Candidates who have successfully applied for the OPSC CSE 2023 prelims examination can check the official notice on the OPSC website at opsc.gov.in. The official notice states, "It is for information of all concerned that, the Commission has decided to conduct the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2023, pursuant to Advt. No. 20 of 2023-24 tentatively on 27.10.2024 (Sunday). The detailed programme of the said examination shall be notified later," reads the official notice from the Commission."
There will be two compulsory papers of General Studies in the prelims examination. Only objective-type questions will be asked that will carry a minimum of 200 marks each in the subjects. The duration of each paper will be 2 hours. Candidates must qualify the prelims examination to become eligible to appear for the main examination. Notably, the number of candidates to be qualified for the main examination will not be more than 12 times of the total number of vacancies to be filled through the OPSC CSE Exam 2023. The OPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2023 admit card will be released in October 2024, a few days prior to the exam date.
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) issued a notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the OPSC 2023 prelims on December 29, 2023. The OPSC OCS application form 2023 was made available on January 17, 2024, and the deadline for application form submission was February 16, 2024. Interested candidates could submit their applications online through the official website at www.opsc.gov.in.
The OPSC Junior Assistant 2023 exam was conducted on November 4 and November 5, 2023, in two shifts: from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The OPSC Junior Assistant 2023 exam comprised four papers: Paper 1 (Language Test English, Paper 2 (Odia), Paper 3 (General Knowledge) and Paper 3 (Mathematics & Basic Computer Skill). The answer key has been made available by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on the official website, opsc.gov.in. If any candidate is not satisfied with the tentative answer key for the Junior Assistant exam, they are allowed to raise objections against the same from November 8 to November 14, 2023. After evaluating the objections raised by the candidates, the final answer key and result will be released.
