PU MET 2020 Selection Process

The selection/counselling of PU MET 2020 will be conducted on the basis of the merit list prepared by the Punjab University and will begin in the second or third week of June 2020. Only those candidates who have qualified the cut-off of PU MET 2020 will be called to participate in the PU MET 2020 selection process and the verification of documents for each candidate will be done on the same day.

PU MET 2020 selection/ counselling process consists of Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds, wherein candidates will be shortlisted for admission into MBA programmes. it must be taken into account by the candidates that in case any candidate is found ineligible during the conduct of the selection process, then he/she will not be allowed to sit in further admission process conducted by the university. The following list of documents that the candidates will have to carry on the day of verification are mentioned below:

  • 10th Marksheet

  • 12th Marksheet

  • PU MET 2020 Scorecard

  • Category Certificate

  • Domicile Certificate

Reservation Policy of PU MET 2020

As per the reservation policy, 53.5% of the seats in each course shall be treated as belonging to the General Category. 46.5% seats shall be treated as belonging to the Reserved Category, according to the details given below:

  • 15% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes.

  • 7.5% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.

  • 5% for candidates belonging to the Backward Classes.
