SVUET 2025 was held in three separate sessions: April 19, May 17, and June 7, 2025, with each session conducted from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Somaiya Vidyavihar University conducts the SVU ET exam for admission to various UG and PG courses. Some of the popular courses offered through SVU ET exam are BBA, BBM, BDes, BCA, BSc Computer Science, BSc Economics, etc. 

SVU ET exam primarily consists of two sections: Verbal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning, with 25 multiple-choice questions in each section, making a total of 50 questions. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers, making it important for students to attempt as many questions as possible without the risk of penalties.

The SVU ET exam offers an extensive choice of courses. Students interested in admission to the university must check here the information provided below about the following courses.

SVUET 2025 syllabus is designed to assess students' important aptitude and reasoning ability. The exam is divided into two parts: verbal reasoning and logical reasoning. Here's a breakdown of the syllabus:

1. Verbal Reasoning (25 Questions)

• Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms)
• Sentence Completion
• Reading Comprehension
• Grammar (Tenses, Parts of Speech, Sentence Correction)
• Analogies and Odd-One-Out

2. Logical Reasoning (25 Questions)

• Number Series and Puzzles
• Syllogisms
• Logical Sequences and Patterns
• Blood Relations and Direction Sense

Eligibility criteria for SVUET 2025 vary according to the program applied for. Students for undergraduate programs must have completed 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognised educational body. Typically, students must have a minimum of 50% to 55% aggregate in their 12th, though this may vary depending on the subject. For example, applicants to B.Sc. Sports & Exercise Science courses may be required to have at least 45% marks. Furthermore, students must meet specific subject requirements for various programs, and applicants from the non-resident Indian (NRI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) categories are also allowed to apply if they match the academic standards. International students should check to see whether their qualifications match the university's requirements.

The registration process for SVUET 2025 has now closed for all three sessions. SVU ET Application Process is conducted on the official Somaiya Vidyavihar University admission portal. Applicants need to follow a few steps:

• Create an Account: Register on the portal by providing basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number.
• Fill the Application Form: Complete the application form by providing educational qualifications, program choice, and personal information.
• Upload Documents: Students must upload scanned copies of necessary documents like the photograph, signature, and academic certificates.
• Payment of Fees: There is no separate fee for the entrance exam. The application fee covers the test and other administrative expenses. Students can pay this fee through online payment options available on the portal.
• Choose the Exam Session: Applicants must select their preferred test session (from the available dates) while submitting the form.

Checking and taking the sample test provided by the university will help students understand the trends of the questions, the total and individual time allotted for one part, and the exam format. Before the exam, the authorities also post a mock test link on the official website, which will help students study for and pass the SVU ET exam.

On the official admission portal, students can check their scores and the SVUET 2025 results will be announced online. The following are the results dates for each session:

• Session 1 (April 19, 2025): Results expected in the first week of May 2025.
• Session 2 (May 17, 2025): Results expected in the first week of June 2025.
• Session 3 (June 7, 2025): Results expected in the third week of July 2025.

Once the results are released, students must visit the admission portal to check their scores. The university will create a merit list based on the students' performances. Those who receive good results will be considered for the next phase, which is counselling.

Following the announcement of the results, students who got an acceptable score will be eligible for next steps in the admission process.

• Merit List: A merit list will be created based on the entrance exam results.
• Counselling Process: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a counselling session. During counselling, students will be asked to choose their chosen program depending on available seats and rank. Counselling may take place online, and students should make sure their documents are ready.
• Document Verification: Students must present original documents for verification during the counselling process.
• Final Admission: Students will receive an admission letter after successfully verifying their information and paying the admission fee. The process will be completed after the seat has been confirmed.
