Steps to Exercise UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Web Options

Below are the main steps of the counselling process -

  • Main counselling (Round 1) Phase – 1, 2, 3 & 4
  • Pool counselling (Round 2)
  • Direct admission (Round 3)
  • Direct admission on Minority seats (Round 4)

After completing the registration process, applicants must pay Rs 5650 (Rs 650 as counselling cost and Rs 5000 as upfront college fee) via online methods such as Net banking, Debit Card, and Credit Card. If the candidate is not offered a seat, the advance college charges of Rs 5000 will be reimbursed to the account information they provided.

The next step is choice filling / web options exercising in the counselling process. Only registered individuals will be able to complete the web options / choice filling process.

Before filling out the form, applicants must confirm the following:

  • If the individual has Sanskrit in all three years of graduation, they must pick "Yes" for Sanskrit B.Ed Colleges.
  • The applicants must check whether they have the option to change their gender if it is incorrectly mentioned. This is set by default to the alternative they selected on the online application.
  • Aspirants registered for UP B.Ed JEE counselling must provide their choices per their preferences.
  • They can provide as many web options / choices as they feel like.
  • The authorities urge the aspirants to provide more choices to decrease their chances of rejection in allotment.
  • Applicants can preview the choices selected and rearrange them accordingly till they have finally submitted their options.
  • Multiple sessions can be used to complete choices. Before logging out, aspirants can save the selections. Data that is not saved will be erased.
  • The candidate's choices are permanent and cannot be modified after they have been locked. As a result, individuals must fill out a sufficient number of college options in the required preferred order.
  • If a person has submitted choices but has not locked them until the last date for choice filling has gone, they will be automatically locked prior to the seat allotment.


College placement will be based solely on the candidate's state rank as well as the colleges they picked in priority order during counselling. The seat allotment outcome will be available exclusively through the candidate's login and nowhere else. 

Candidates who have been assigned a college must obtain a provisional allotment and confirmation letter from the UP B.Ed JEE 2024 website. Suppose the college fee is higher than the advance college charges. In that case, candidates must pay the difference online within three days of college allocation before they can get the Provisional Allotment / Confirmation letter.

The candidate must report to the college of choice within three days after being assigned, with all original documents and a provisional allocation cum confirmation letter.

During this period the original documents will be physically verified by the Head of the college / institution.

Who can Participate in UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Choice Filling?

Students who will receive a rank in the UP B.Ed JEE 2024 and been chosen for the counselling round can use the web choices / web options for the various phases. Candidates that have a Phase I seat and seek to transfer to another participating college may be given the chance to participate in the subsequent UP B.Ed JEE choice filling rounds.

Individuals who participated in one counselling session but could not gain admission to their selected college may be allowed to participate. Students who were summoned for counselling but did not participate in the particular phase or aspirants who were assigned a seat in Phase I but declined acceptance also may be considered for further choice filling rounds.

  • Printout of the provisional Seat Allotment for UP B.Ed JEE cum Confirmation letter from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly website.
  • Copy of UP B.Ed JEE 2024 application form, admit card, result / scorecard of the UP B.Ed JEE 2024.
  • Proof of date of birth
