WB JECA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025

  1. The first round's allocation will be announced on a scheduled day.
  2. The candidate's inputs impact the allocation. The applicant's allocation or admission will be deemed canceled if, upon examination, any relevant authority determines that the applicant is not eligible for the allotment.
  3. To view their allocation, candidates will log in. The institute to which he or she has been assigned a seat will be displayed in the allotment status.
  4. The applicants must download the allotment letter and pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹5000/-. The present allocation will be canceled and the candidate will not be considered for seat allocation in the second round if the seat acceptance fee is not paid.
  5. The candidate must bring the allotment letter and any supporting documentation to the designated institute for verification after downloading it. The present allotment will be canceled and the candidate will not be considered for seat allocation in the second round if they do not show up for document verification.

WB JECA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025

  1. The following candidate groups, who successfully registered in Round 1, will be taken into consideration in Round 2. Those who received no allocation in Round 1. Those who chose to upgrade to YES in Round 1, paid the seat acceptance fee, and finished document verification. Those whose allotment in Round 1 was canceled for a variety of legitimate reasons other than academic eligibility but who paid the seat acceptance fee and finished document verification.
  2. It is crucial to remember that in the event that the seat is upgraded, the previous allocation will be revoked and given to other worthy applicants based on their qualifications. The candidate is therefore unable to undo the upgrade, meaning that he or she cannot get their previous allocation back. However, the earlier seat would stay reserved or held if the upgrade was not implemented.

Outcomes of the Document Verification Process

Here we have highlighted what could be the outcomes of the document verification process.

  1. If the verification is successful, you will have to mention his/her upgradation choice. The candidate must choose NO upgrade if they have been given a seat of their first choice, finish all admission requirements (PI reporting) at the relevant institution, and obtain a signed Physical Reporting Receipt.
  2. The candidate may choose not to upgrade if they have been given a seat of their second or subsequent preference and have finished the admissions process. However, the candidate will not be eligible for any seat allocation in the second round if they choose NO upgrade and then fail to finish the admissions process.
  3. Candidates who have been given a seat of their second or later preference may also choose to upgrade to a YES upgrade and not accept admission in the first round; they will be given consideration for a potential upgrade in the second round.
  4. If the candidate chooses neither a yes upgrade nor a no upgrade after successful document verification, they will be deemed uninterested in admission and will not be allowed to take any seats.
  5. If it is determined that the candidate is ineligible for the current allotment based on his or her actual academic scores, category certificates, etc., the allotment may be cancelled. These applicants will be automatically taken into account in the second round based on their updated academic records, category, etc.

WBJEEB is neither liable nor responsible in this instance, and they will not answer any questions regarding it.
  5. Only during the Round 2 seat acceptance period, students who have already paid the seat acceptance fee and been assigned a seat change their minds. Within 60 to 90 days following the conclusion of all counseling rounds, individuals will get a complete refund via internet banking if they decide to withdraw. For this refund, students do not need to get in touch with WBJEEB.
  6. If a student pays the seat acceptance fee but does not complete admission or withdrawal, they may also receive a refund. The candidate must abide by the refund guidelines that are posted on the Board's website in the notification section.
