The application form of AFCAT 2 will be released to select both male and female aspirants for the post of commissioned officers in the Flying and Ground Duty branches (Technical and Non Technical). The aspirant must be an Indian citizen according to the Indian Citizenship Act of 1955.

Age:
For Moving Branches, candidates must be of age between 20 to 24 years old as of July 1, 2024, or aspirants who were born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2004. Candidates with a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (India) have an upper age limit reduced to 26 years, i.e., those born July 2, 1998 - July 1, 2004.

For Technical and Non-Technical Ground Duty Branches, as of July 1, 2024, candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 26, or must have been born between July 2, 1998 - July 1, 2004.
