To be eligible for the examination, the candidate has to meet the following eligibility criteria for the applied programme:
GAT (UGTP) Eligibility Norms:
Candidate must pass the class 12th examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for B.tech and 50% aggregate marks for B.Arch./B.Pharm in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognised Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2019 or 2018 and Rank secured in GAT (UGTP)-2019.
Candidates with PCM/PCB group are eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology and B.Pharmacy with 60% aggregate marks in the group and First Class/equivalent grade.
Note: Those who want admission in B.Arch programme should qualify in NATA / JEE (Main) paper-2.
GAT (PGTA) Eligibility Norms:
Candidates should have First class or equivalent grade in the Qualifying Examination from recognised university/institutes with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for M.Tech and 50% aggregate marks for M.Arch and rank secured in GAT (PGTA) 2019.
Note: GATE qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGTA) - 2019, however they need to apply for admission and have to attend counselling as per the schedule.
GAT (PGP) Eligibility Norms:
Candidate should pass B.Pharm from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and rank secured in GAT (PGP) - 2019.
Note: GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGP) - 2019, however, they need to apply and have to attend counselling as per the schedule.
