About Amity JEE 2018

Amity Joint Entrance Examination, popularly known as Amity JEE, is organised by Pearson VUE (on behalf of Amity) for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by Amity University. It is a national level entrance test held in various cities across India and abroad. Amity JEE is organised in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between the months of April and May every year.

Amity JEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for any programme, it is important for a candidate to be aware of the eligibility norms of the entrance test. Only eligible candidates can apply for Amity JEE 2018. The criteria of eligibility are different for different B.Tech programmes. Therefore, before proceeding to fill the Amity JEE 2018 application form, candidates should carefully go through the eligibility norms of Amity JEE.

  • Candidate should have passed their class 10th and class 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board/university.

  • Candidate should've studied English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 11th and 12th standard and should've secured the minimum aggregate.

Amity JEE 2018 Exam Pattern

For candidates planning to appear for Amity JEE 2018, it is important to be aware of the Amity JEE 2018 exam pattern. According to the exam pattern, the entrance exam comprises of objective type questions and is organised in online mode. Candidates should go through the detailed Amity JEE exam pattern 2018 given below.

  • The Amity JEE question paper has a total of 90 objective type questions.

  • The question paper is divided into four sections namely General English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.

  • The maximum time limit is 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete Amity JEE 2018 Examination.

  • For each question, a candidate is allotted an approximately 1.25 minutes.

  • Each question in Amity JEE carries 4 marks.

  • There is negative marking in the exam. 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Amity JEE 2018 Result

Amity JEE 2018 Result is expected to be declared in the month of May by the official authority of the examination. Amity JEE 2018 Counselling

Amity JEE 2018 Counselling takes place after the declaration of results, in the month of June. Soon after the results, a merit list is put up on the official website where the qualifying candidates alone will be intimated about the counselling dates for different courses. The candidates have to be listed on the merit to be qualified for counselling.

Amity University invites the qualified candidates for counselling. Candidates should be present on the day of counselling with their original documents. On the day of counselling, candidates are interviewed by a panel of notable contributors to the Amity University.

Listed below are the documents to be carried at the time of counselling:

  • Class 10th Mark sheet and certificate

  • Class 12th Mark sheet and certificate

  • Amity JEE 2018 admit card

  • Amity JEE 2018 score card

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Transfer certificate

  • Passport size photographs

  • Other relevant certificates

How to Apply for Amity JEE 2018

The Amity JEE 2018 application form is available in both online and offline modes. Admission microsite is an online portal through which the candidates can register to access online application form for Amity JEE 2018. Offline application form can be purchased from Amity campus as well. The steps to fill the application form in both the modes are mentioned below:

How to Fill Amity JEE Application Form 2018

In Online Mode:


  • Visit the official website of the Amity University.

  • Create an account on the website with your email address.

  • After successful registration, you will be redirected to a page where the application form number and password will be available.

  • Click on the 'Continue' tab to fill the application form of Amity JEE 2018.

Filling Up of Application Details:

  • In this step, you will have to enter your programme, personal, academic details along with other relevant information.

  • Personal Details: Gender, Category, Date of Birth, Permanent Address, Have you ever been suspended, dismissed or put on academic probation or warning at any school or college? (Yes/No), Aadhaar number.

  • Educational Details: Board Name, Roll Number, Passing year, Aggregate Percentage, Medium of Instructions, City, Pin code, Marking System, Result Details.

  • Programme & campus: Choices of campuses and programmes, Nationality, Admission Category.

  • Parent's Details: Name, Age, Email ID, Mobile Number, Qualification, Profession, Association of any family member with Amity?.

Uploading the Documents:

  • You have to upload scanned images of your recent passport sized photograph in the prescribed format.

  • The dimensions of the photograph should be 3.5 X 4.5cm width.

  • Scanned photograph should be in jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp format for online submission.

  • Scanned Class X mark sheet should be in jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp, pdf format for online submission.

  • After uploading the required images, you will have to click on 'Save and Continue' tab.

Payment of Fees:

  • You will have to pay the application fee of INR 1100.

  • The application fee can be paid by Debit Card/Credit Card via ICICI Payment Gateway and Paytm.

  • After that, you will have to click on the 'Submit' tab.

Confirmation Page:

  • After successful payment of application fee, you must take a printout of the Amity JEE application form 2018 and keep it safe for future reference.

In Offline Mode:

There are two ways of filling the Amity JEE 2018 application form offline.

Buying the Admission Pack from any of the Amity campuses:

  • For this option, you have to buy the admission pack from any of the Amity campuses (Noida, Greater Noida, Lucknow, Jaipur, Gurgaon (Manesar), Gwalior, Mumbai, Raipur, Ranchi & Kolkata) for INR 1100/-.

  • After that, you have to submit the completely filled application form with an affixed coloured passport sized photograph to the campus where you're applying.

  • You also have to attach the Class X mark sheet with form.

Downloading the Amity JEE Application Form:

  • Visit the official website of the Amity University and click on the 'Download Application Form' tab.

  • After this, you can download the PDF application form and take a printout of the same.

  • You should fill Amity JEE 2018 application form with a blue or black ball point pen.

  • You have to fill the form completely and affix a recent coloured passport sized photograph at the designated space.

  • The application form has to be submitted along with a photocopy of class X mark-sheet.

  • The application fee can be paid online using net banking or debit/credit card or via Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of ‘Amity Form’ payable at New Delhi.

  • The application fee is INR 1100/-.

  • Do not forget to mention your Name & Amity Application Form Number at the back of the Demand Draft.

  • The duly filled application form should be submitted to the respective campus you are applying to:
