Before applying for the IEMJEE 2026 exam, candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. The applications of candidates who do not fall under the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the exam organising authority.
Nationality
Eligibility Norms for UG Programme
Candidates should have passed the class 12 examination or equivalent examination from a recognised board with 50% aggregate (60% for engineering courses and B Stat).
Those who are awaiting their result or have appeared for the final examination of the qualifying exam are also eligible for IEMJEE.
Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Eligibility Norms for PG Programme
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised university with 60% aggregate (50% for MBA courses).
Candidates who are awaiting their results or have appeared for the final semester of the last year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for IEMJEE.
Mode of Selection
For all UG programmes, candidates should qualify IEMJEE 2026 to take admission into the respective college and programme.
For PG Programmes:
M.Tech: Candidates who qualify in GATE / PGET / any other National Level or State Level Exam will be called for GD and PI rounds directly.
MBA: Candidates who qualified in CAT / MAT / WBJEMAT / Any other National Level or State Level Exam with at least 85th percentile will be called for GD and PI rounds directly.
MCA: Candidates who qualify in JECA (West Bengal)/ Any other National Level or State Level Exam will be called for GD and PI rounds directly.
