IEMJEE 2021 exam pattern includes information related to the examination mode, number of sections, total number of questions, total marks, subject-wise distribution of marks, marking scheme, etc. Candidates should be familiar with the exam pattern so that they can get an overall idea of the question paper. IEMJEE exam pattern contains objective questions (MCQs).
Every question is followed by 4 alternative options as answers and candidates need to choose the correct one.
The nature and pattern of questions are similar to other state and national level exams:
For B.Tech Programme: The examination pattern is similar to that of JEE Mains. There will be 3 sections comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry Programme: The examination pattern is similar to that of WB JELET.
For BCA/BBA Programme: The examination pattern includes English, General Knowledge, and Preliminary Mathematics.
For M.Tech Programme: The exam pattern is similar to that of GATE examination.
For MCA/M.Sc Programme: The exam pattern is similar to that of WB JECA examination.
For MBA Programme: The exam pattern is on the same lines as CAT examination.
