About IEMJEE 2018

IEMJEE (short for Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam) is a university level exam organised every year for admitting candidates into various programmes i.e. B.Tech/ BCA/ BBA/ BPT/ M.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc/ MBA offered at the Institute. It is organised by the IEM (short for Institute of Engineering & Management) Group and UEM (short for University of Engineering & Management). IEMJEE is a computer-based test (online), which is organised every year in the month of April.

IEMJEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the IEMJEE 2018 exam, candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. The applications of candidates who do not fall under the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the exam organising authority.

Nationality

  • The candidates of Indian origin as well as Foreign nationals will be eligible to appear for IEMJEE.

Eligibility Norms for UG Programmme

  • Candidates should have passed class 12 examination or equivalent examination from a recognised board with 50% aggregate (60% for engineering courses and B Stat).

  • Those who are awaiting their result or have appeared for the final examination of the qualifying exam are also eligible for IEMJEE.

  • Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Eligibility Norms for PG Programmme

  • Candidates should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised university with 60% aggregate (50% for MBA courses).

  • Candidates who are awaiting their result or have appeared for the final semester of the last year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for IEMJEE.

Mode of Selection

  • For all UG programmes, candidates should qualify IEMJEE 2018 to take admission into the respective college and programme.

  • For PG programmes:

    • M.Tech: Candidates who qualify in GATE / PGET / any other National Level or State Level Exam will be called for GD and PI rounds directly.

    • MBA: Candidates who qualified in CAT / MAT / WBJEMAT / Any other National Level or State Level Exam with at least 85 percentile will be called for GD and PI rounds directly.

    • MCA: Candidates who qualify in JECA (West Bengal)/ Any other National Level or State Level Exam will be called for GD and PI rounds directly.

IEMJEE 2018 Result

IEM UEM Group is expected to release the result of IEMJEE 2018 in the 2nd week of May 2018. The result is published on the official website of IEM UEM Group. The IEMJEE 2018 result is declared in the form of rank card. To view the IEMJEE 2018 result, candidates have to login to the official website using their hall ticket/admit card and Name.

Candidates can expect to have the merit list one week after the announcement of result. They will be given IEMJEE 2018 Ranks as per the marks obtained by them in the entrance test. The selected candidates are placed in the merit list in the order of their ranks.

  • Visit the official website of IEMJEE 2018.

  • Click on the link available to access IEMJEE 2018 Result.

IEMJEE 2018 Counselling

IEMJEE 2018 Counselling Process usually starts in the month of June. The schedule for the same is expected to be notified soon after the announcement of results. Candidates should attend the counselling process at the prescribed time and date allotted to them. Candidates are allotted seats based on merit and their preference of programme.

  • The counselling process is held at the 2 campuses of IEM UEM Group i.e Kolkata and Jaipur.

  • Candidates have to carry all the requisite documents and certificates, which will be verified by the organising body.

  • After the verification of documents, candidates have to fill the offline preference form.

  • Candidate are offered seats on the basis of the ranks secured in IEMJEE 2018 and availability of seats in the programmes for which candidates had expressed their preference.

  • If the seat offered to the candidates is accepted, they have to pay the confirmation fee.

IEMJEE Admit Card 2018

IEMJEE admit card 2018 is going to be issued in online mode by IEM UEM Group for all the candidates who have successfully registered for the entrance exam. Once the admit card of IEMJEE 2018 will be released, candidates can download and print the same from the official website of the university. IEMJEE admit card/hall ticket will contain details such as hall ticket number, date and time of exam, exam day instructions etc.

Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates must carry IEMJEE 2018 admit card along with a valid proof of identity on the day of the exan. Without admit card and ID proof candidates will not be allowed to take the test.   • Enter your Personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email address and Contact number, Parent/Guardian, Foreign Student, Exam, Contact, Venue etc.  

  • You will also have to disclose your choice of course.

  • Please be careful while entering your email ID, as it will be used for sending your Hall ticket

  • After providing all the requisite information, a unique User ID and a one-time Password will be generated.

  • You will be urged to create a new password. You will have to create an alpha numeric password that you can easily remember.

  • Once all the sections on the form are duly filled, you will have to preview the details before submitting the form.

  • There is no application fee required for IEMJEE

  • This will complete the registration procedure for you to download the application form.

  • After that, the admit card will be sent to your registered email ID.
