IISER Aptitude Test eligibility criteria are laid down by the exam conducting authority for the candidates who wish to apply for the entrance exam. The eligibility norms of the IISER Admission Test include requirements related to nationality, educational qualification, and qualifying marks of the candidates in their final exams and other information relevant for applying for the exam.
Following is the eligibility criteria for IISER 2022 -
Mode of IISER Admission 2022
IISER Admission Test is conducted through 3 channels i.e Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE Advanced), and State and Central Boards Channel (SCB).
General Category candidates must qualify for the JEE Advanced exam and secure a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL).
However, the candidates falling in the reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD) should secure the rank within 10,000.
SCB Channel: Under this channel,
Candidates should have passed their Class 12th or intermediate examination in 2020 or 2021 with the Science stream.
Candidates must secure equal marks or above the cut-off percentage in their respective boards.
The cut-off percentage marks are 55% in class 12 for all boards for Scheduled Castes (SC), the Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Kashmiri Migrants (KM) category candidates.
There is 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for the OBC-NC & PwD category.
