Candidates will be required to provide their JEE Advanced 2024 registration number and password in order to access the result of JEE Advanced 2024. The result of JEE Advanced 2024 will also comprise the Common Rank List (CRL). It is mandatory for the candidates to possess a valid JEE Advanced 2024 rank to be eligible for the JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment. Candidates can take help of the JEE Advanced answer key and response sheet to calculate their JEE Advanced scores before the declaration of the JEE Advanced 2024 result.

Go to the official website of JEE Advanced 2024 and click on the link available to access the result (results.jeeadv.ac.in)
A new page will open where you will be required to enter your Registration No, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID
Click on 'Login' once all the credentials are filled
After that, JEE Advanced results will appear on your screen
Download the JEE Advanced result, take a printout and keep a soft copy as well.
Once the JEE Advanced results are announced, the merit list follows. Next, the successful candidates are called for the JEE Advanced counselling process. During the counselling process for JEE Advanced, candidates should carry all the original documents with them to the designated center/destination. In the seat allotment and counselling process, candidates will have the option of choice filling of the seat, provisional admission, and seat allotment.

JEE Advanced 2024 result is calculated on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in both Paper I and Paper-II. Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2024 Paper I and Paper II, the concerned authorities will prepare a Common Rank List.
For Example, if a candidate has obtained 50 marks in Physics Paper I and 50 marks in Physics Paper-II, the total marks obtained by the candidate in Physics is the sum of marks obtained in Paper I and Paper II, i.e 100. A similar methodology is employed while calculating the total marks obtained by the candidate in Chemistry and Mathematics.
The following formula is used to calculate the aggregate marks scored by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2024 examination.
Aggregate Marks/Marks Secured in JEE Advanced 2020=Aggregate Marks (Physics+Chemistry+Mathematics)
The rank list of JEE Advanced 2024 includes the names of those candidates who have successfully secured the minimum prescribed marks in the JEE Advanced 2024 examination.
The Rank Lists of JEE Advanced 2024 are prepared for only those candidates who appear for both Papers 1 and 2.
The JEE Advanced Rank lists are prepared on the basis of aggregate marks in JEE Advanced 2024 exam.
The aggregate score means the sum of the marks secured by the candidates in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects.
There will be no waiting list for ranking.
If the aggregate marks obtained by two or more candidates are similar, then the tie-break policy will be used to give the ranks.
A separate rank list will be prepared for reserved category (OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD).
A candidate who manages to qualify in more than one category will be considered in all the categories, where he/she belongs to the purpose of ranking.
Along with the results, the minimum marks that aspirants need to acquire for inclusion in the JEE Advanced rank list will be released.

The JEE Advanced 2024 tie-breaking policy shall be applicable for the test takers eventually scoring equal marks or ranks in the entrance exam. In order to identify the one scoring higher rank few parameters are taken into consideration. These parameters help the concerned authority to identify the one with higher rank or position in the rank list of JEE Advanced 2024.
The tie-breaker policy shall be practical with the declaration of the JEE Advanced result 2024. The parameters of this tie-breaker policy include the following:
Candidates with a higher score in Mathematics will be given the first priority as compared to other JEE Advanced equal marks scorer. Higher rank will be given to the candidates with higher marks in Mathematics
If the marks secured in Mathematics fail to break the tie then the marks scored in Physics will be considered. The ones scoring higher marks in Physics will be allotted with a higher rank as compared to the others
In case of the tie still exists then the ones with equal marks will be given equal ranks by the concerned authority of JEE Advanced
The tie-breaking policy of JEE ADvanced 2024 will be employed for candidates scoring equal marks in JEE Advanced 2024 exam. A number of parameters are taken into account to identify the candidate with the higher rank position as per the JEE Advanced rank list 2024.
Candidates will have to check the cutoff list after the result is announced to ensure their position in the respective JEE Advanced participating colleges 2024.
