Candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate courses from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will have to clear the JNU CEEB Counselling 2019. The counselling process for JNU CEEB will begin after the announcement of the JNU CEEB 2019 Result. The selection will purely depend on the basis of the merit list declared by JNU along with the candidate’s preferences/choices. It is to bring into notice that, if any candidate has not mentioned his or her choice for joining a particular university, his or her name will not be considered for that University. Candidates can make their preferences in accordance with the number of seats available, their rank and the programme, for which they had applied at the time of filling the application form.
It is important for candidates to know that the merit list prepared for the Counselling Process will also depend on the number of seats available with the Participating Institutions. As per the availability, selected candidates will be called for the Counselling Rounds. The overall performance of the candidates will be considered while the Process of JNU CEEB 2019 Counselling is on. However, the final decision with the admission of the candidates will reside to the concerned authorities of the Participating Colleges of JNU CEEB 2019.

The process for the counselling procedure can clearly be understood in stages. These stages comprise of the Entrance Exam, Result announcement and the Cut-Off List. Candidates are required to clear all of these stages if they wish to sit for the Counselling Procedure. The entrance exam has been scheduled to take place from 27th - 30th May 2019 (31st May 2019 as a reserve day) at different exam centres.
