JNU CEEB Eligibility Criteria 2021

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has mentioned the JNU CEEB 2021 eligibility criteria for 2021-22 admissions. Candidates should check the JNU CEEB 2021 eligibility norms prior to filling the JNU CEEB 2021 application form. Candidates who are not able to satisfy JNU CEEB eligibility norms will not be considered for admission. The eligibility norms of JNU CEEB 2021 include requirements related to age, educational qualification, and qualifying marks of the candidates in their final exams and other information relevant for applying for the exam. To know more about the eligibility criteria for JNU CEEB 2021, read the following information.

The application process for JNU CEEB 2021 will begin from March 1st week 2021 and will end in April 2021 (tentatively). Before a candidate prepares to fill the JNU CEEB application form, he/she must check the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the entrance exam. Candidate's application form will not be accepted if he/she fails to meet the eligibility criteria of JNU CEEB 2021. 

The eligibility criteria of JNU CEEB 2021 states the minimum eligibility required by candidates to apply for a particular subject i.e. 

  • M.Sc. Agri Biotechnology

  • M.Sc. Biotechnology  (General Biotechnology, Industrial, Environmental, Marine, Medical Biotechnology, Neuroscience, Molecular & Human Genetics, and Bioresource's Biotechnology)

  • M.Tech. Biotechnology

Detailed JNU CEEB 2021 Eligibility Criteria

 The detailed JNU CEEB 2021 eligibility criteria have been discussed below - 

Nationality:

  • Indian national and Foreign national candidates are eligible to apply.

Age Criteria:

  • There is no age limit to apply for JNU CEEB 2021.

Number of Attempts:

  • The examination is organised only once every year, so the candidate can appear only once per year.

Qualifying Examination:

For M.Sc in Biotechnology Programme:

  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor degree programme under 10+2+3 pattern from a recognised university/institute in the following field i.e. Biological, Physical, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-years B. SC (Physician Assistance Course); or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS.

  • Candidates need to obtained 55% marks in Bachelor Degree to become eligible

  • Candidates who will be appearing in the final year examination of graduation can also apply for the examination.

For M.Sc. in Agri. Biotechnology and M.V.Sc Programmes:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3/4/5 pattern with at least 55% marks or its equivalent examination in the concerned subjects from any recognised university/institute.

  • Candidates who will be appearing in the final year examination of graduation can also apply for the examination.

For M.Tech in Biotechnology Programme:

  • Candidate must have minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognised university/institute in the concerned subjects.

  • Candidates who will be appearing in the final year examination of graduation can also apply for the examination.
