MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

DTE Maharashtra has set the eligibility requirements related to academic qualifications, passing percentage, age limit etc,  which candidates will have to fulfil in order to get eligible for MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 exam. If any candidate fails to satisfy any of the prescribed eligibility conditions, then, he/she will not be allowed to take the MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 exam. All the candidates are advised to go through the MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 application form. The MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 eligibility criteria 2019 will include details related to the qualifying examination, age, and academic details etc. 

The MAH M.ARCH CET 2019 examination will be conducted for the admission into two years full-time Bachelor of Architecture programme. Candidates must note that there is a separate eligibility criterion for Maharashtra Candidature/ All India Candidature. The other candidates belonging to NRI / OCI/ PIO, children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, foreign National categories should also check the detailed MAH M.ARCH CET eligibility criteria 2019 as mentioned below. Candidates who are pursuing the final year of education may also apply for the exam if they are confident to score the required academic percentage. 

Detailed Eligibility Criteria For Maharashtra Candidates and All India Candidates

  • Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • Candidate should have passed a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from the All India Council for Technical Education or Council of Architecture or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent examination.
  • For General Category candidate, it is mandatory to score at least 50 % marks in the aggregate while 45 % for Backward class categories along with persons with disabilities belonging to Maharashtra State only.
  • Candidate should have obtained a score in CET.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for CET.

Note:

  • If in case the candidates have scored grades/ CGPA instead of marks, the conversion to the percentage of marks from grades and CGPA will be based on the procedure certified by the University/institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. Two places after the decimal will be considered for calculating the percentage of marks. 
  • Candidates who belong from any of the SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC, SBC and SEBC  categories need to show the “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare Department. Other candidates belonging to ST Category need to submit the “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate except SC, ST candidates at the time of verification of documents.
  • The aggregate marks can be calculated as the grand total of marks obtained in each subject by the candidate.
