MH SET 2026 Answer Key will be released in August. The final answer key will be released by the Savitribai Phule Pune University after all the objections to the provisional answer key are cleared. Candidates were allowed to file for objections through the official website at setexam.unipune.ac.in. Along with the final answer key, the MH SET 2026 Result is also released on the official website to be downloaded using the seat number and the name of the candidate. Only the candidates who have passed the exam can download their scorecard from the official website and apply for an assistant professor job across the universities.

You can follow the simple procedure given below to download the final MH SET answer key 2026:

• Step 1: First, visit the official website of the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET) as presented by the Savitribai Phule Pune University at setexam.unipune.ac.in. 
• Step 2: The home page will open on your screen, where you have to click on the option called “The Final Answer Key Concerning SET Exam Held On 15th June, 2026.”
• Step 3: A new page will open displaying the following options: .

1. Paper I Booklet - A, Paper I Booklet - B, Paper I Booklet - C, Paper I Booklet - D

2. Paper - II All Subjects (Booklets - A, B, C, D)

3. Paper - II Mathematical Sciences (Booklet - A)

4. Paper - II Mathematical Sciences (Booklet - B)

5. Paper - II Mathematical Sciences (Booklet - C)

6. Paper - II Mathematical Sciences (Booklet - D)

• Step 4: Click on the option of your choice to download the final answer key. 

MH SET Answer Key Release – Objections Submission

SPPU will release the provisional answer key in the second week of July. The candidates will be allowed to go through it to get an idea of their scores. While checking the answers, they will be given the right to raise objections against the incorrect answers. The candidates should make sure that the answer is correct before raising the objection. Candidates can raise objections against the answer key till the last week of July. The University of Pune will provide an objection form that is to be submitted by the candidates who have issues with the answer key. While submitting the objection form, candidates have to pay the fee too. After reviewing all the objections, SPPU will release the MH SET final answer key in the second or third week of August, along with the result and cutoff PDF. 

Steps to Challenge MH SET Answer Key 2026

In case the candidates find any discrepancy in the MH SET answer key, they can challenge the answer keys before the date given by the board (to be announced). The candidates will have to follow the given steps to challenge MH SET 2026 answer keys:

1. Visit the official website.
2. On the answer key page, click on "Challenge Answer Key".
3. Enter the question numbers and paper which you want to challenge.
4. Upload the PDFs for all the supporting documents for evidence.
5. Pay the fee of INR 1000 per question to submit the challenge.
6. Each Candidate can submit Online Feedback only once. Once you proceed to payment mode, you will be unable to change the number of questions/answers to be challenged.
7. Preview the online form to ensure correctness.
8. After successful submission of the form through online mode, take a printout of the same for your reference.

In case, the feedback is accepted, the fee corresponding to the number of answers /challenges accepted will be refunded to the respective candidate in the online mode. In all other cases, the fee once paid will not be refunded. The challenges will be evaluated by the experts and the answer keys will be finalized as per U.G.C. guidelines. The final answer keys will be used for digitized evaluation of the OMR sheets and uploaded on the MH SET website.

Steps to Calculate Expected Score with MH SET Answer Key 2026

The candidates can follow the given steps to calculate their expected score in the MH SET exam using the answer key:

1. Open the answer key you have just downloaded.

2. Start comparing your responses with the answer keys.

3. If the answer is correct, assign 2 marks to the question.

4. There is no negative marking in the exam, hence there will be no deduction for an incorrect answer.

5. After assigning marks to each question, add the overall score to get your final score.
