Savitribai Phule Pune University will release the MH SET 2025 cutoff in the second week of October 2025, on the official website at setexam.unipune.ac.in. To be eligible, you need to have at least 40% aggregate in both papers if you belong to the general category, or 35% if you belong to a reserved category. The marks are computed by adding your marks from both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The MH SET cutoff 2025 will be released most likely in the second week of October 2025, on the official website at setexam.unipune.ac.in. The cutoff will be declared for different categories (general, OBC, SC, ST, etc.) and 32 subjects in PDF format. Along with the MH SET 2025 cutoff, Savitribai Phule Pune University will also release the MH SET result 2025 and answer key on the same day. The cut-off marks are the minimum passing marks that you need to score to clear the exam. MH SET 2025 will be conducted on June 15, 2025. If you qualify for the exam and meet the cutoff, you become eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in the universities/ colleges in Maharashtra and Goa. You can follow the steps mentioned below to check the MH SET Cutoff marks for different categories.
The MH SET qualifying marks refer to the score that aspirants must achieve on the MH SET exam to be included in the subject-by-subject merit list of candidates who meet the minimal qualifying requirements for each category. The qualifying cutoff percentage, aggregate marks subject-wise category-wise, is given by the percentage of aggregate marks that correspond to the number of qualifying slots for a specific subject. The top 6% of candidates (for each subject and category) from the MH SET merit list are declared qualified for the post of Assistant Professor.
The MH SET Qualifying Marks is 40% aggregate marks in both papers taken together for General Category candidates. For reserved category candidates the minimum qualifying marks is 35% aggregate marks in both papers taken together.
