Predict NowNEET SS Exam Pattern 2023: The latest exam pattern for NEET SS 2023 exam has been released by the National Board of Examination on its official website - natboard.edu.in. The NEET SS exam pattern for the session 2023-24 is not much different from previous years' examination pattern. NEET SS 2023 exam pattern helps candidates understand the structure of the examination. NEET SS 2023 exam will be conducted on September 29 and 30, 2023 and the NEET SS admit card 2023 is scheduled to be released on September 22, 2023. Previously, the exam was postponed and the new exam dates are announced by the exam conducting body on September 2, 2023. NEET SS 2023 exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on September 9 and 10, 2023.
NEET SS is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission in DM/ M.Ch courses. Around 40% of the questions coming in the exam will be from all the eligible feeder broad speciality course(s). The remaining 60% of questions will be asked from the super speciality course which was selected by the candidate at the time of online submission of NEET SS application form. Candidates may choose a maximum of two super speciality programs for which he/she is eligible. NBE may club some of the super specialities in which the total number of intakes will be lower.
There will be a separate question paper for each of the super speciality courses or club groups. Around 100 questions will be asked in the exam which will be divided into two parts namely Part A and Part B. All the questions that will be asked will be at PG Exit level. Let's delve deeper into how the NEET SS exam will work in 2023. Here's a clear breakdown:
Two Parts: The exam is split into two main sections, known as Part A and Part B.
Question Split: About 40% of the questions (that's around 40 questions) will be based on the subjects you studied in your eligible feeder broad speciality course(s).
Your Chosen Course: The other 60% of questions (roughly 60 questions) will focus on the super speciality course you chose when applying.
Part A Details: Part A covers questions from only one broad speciality.
Multiple Subjects in Part A: If your super speciality program relates to various feeder broad speciality courses, Part A will include questions from all the eligible feeder courses.

NEET SS 2023 marking scheme is decided by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The marking scheme remains the same for both sections. As per the marking scheme, the candidate will be granted four marks for each correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted if the candidate answered any question wrong. No changes will be affected in case of the question is left unattempted.
