NEST 2024 result will be released by July 10, 2024.
The final NEST 2024 answer key is scheduled to be released by NISER along with the test results.
The percentile scores, which are determined based on the relative performance of all the qualified candidates in each session, will be used to prepare the merit lists for NISER and CEBS.
The overall cutoff percentile obtained by candidates in NEST 2024 is known as the MAP. The highest MAP is at the 100% percentile, with the general category scoring at 95%, the OBC category at 90%, and the SC/ST/Divyangjan categories at 75%.
The section-wise minimum admissible score (SMAS), which consists of the minimum admissible percentile (MAP) and cutoff marks for each section, will be used to determine the final merit list for NISER and CEBS.
Nowadays, becoming a member of NISER is not all that difficult. All you need to get into NISER for the general category is a NEST score of between 60 and 65 percent.
The NEST exam is not very challenging. The degree of difficulty ranges from medium to difficult. The NEST exam is not a big deal for you if you are familiar with the material from your 11th and 12th grade classes, but it is more challenging than the JEE mains and NEET exams. However, the exam is not as challenging as JEE Advanced.
Candidates must achieve the NEST 2023 cut off or higher to secure a place on the NISER merit list. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology will each receive 50 points, with the general section receiving 30. The general section as well as the candidate's best three subjects or sections attempted will be considered.
Only 0.5% of the approximately 80,000 applicants nationwide are admitted.
Given your OBC rank of 583 and merit rank of 2008, you may be eligible for some of the NEST 2024 participating colleges, but admission to the very best colleges may be competitive. Consult Collegedekho for the most recent updates from participating colleges and the NEST authorities.
